wow its been a while. here's my snake horse.

I was going to put a ceiling in the shop this year but I got sidetracked a bit. This is a 97 cobra and it needs help. Long story short it has like 20 years of bad mods, cut corners, and a crappy paintjob. Its actually a crystal white car that somebody shot single stage black over which means I...

Let's talk about HVLP guns and setups

Next year I intend to do another car build with my boy. He will be 6 and its been too long without something cool in the garage to wrench on. Part of that will be lots of body work. I've worked in a body shop which is where I learned body work and some paint work techniques but I've never done...

    Eastwood Strut Coil Spring Compressor

the wallmount ovilla posted is the only one i'd use other than these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071D4HQ2B/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I do not like the idea of not having at least 2 sides compressed. I don't trust myself to seat that monkey PERFECTLY. using this I did all the struts on my wife's...

Are you building your dream shop? What's your dream?

My dream would basically be a warehouse airconditioned and would rival most small shops. You know, completely unrealistic. My reality tamed goals are: small garage that is AC'd with good lighting that looks nice and has plenty of storage to keep my tools out of the way when not in use. She's...

    Help with MIG Welder Purchase

They cost more because they are built to be production line professional rigs. Hobarts have all the same guts except for the motors which do not need to be anywhere near the level of durability that a production line box. When I say production line I mean welding 5 days a week for 8 hours a...
