    Water filled tractor tires

That's very true. Many people don't realize that since the front axle freely pivots in the center with no springs, you are basically operating a tricycle. Things can go south very quickly when both rear wheels are in the air.

Single Bay 220v Garage Heater <$500

I don’t understand how, but this electric heater ($179) has easily kept my 1400 square-foot Pole Barn between 55-60° the last two winters in the Northeast. 10 foot walls with a flat ceiling in the front half, 12 foot walls with scissor trussed ceiling in the back half. Two 9 x 9 doors in one...

12x24 concrete pad in pole building

I think you actually do want to trap moisture to help the cure. But the whole slab, not just under the trunks

    Asphalt Millings + Geo Grid

Can you tell me how thick you went with the millings over the 57? I have an existing driveway that has held up well over the years, but needs a refresh. I can prob only go a couple of inches unless I take out a bunch. Not sure if that’s enough.

    Whole House Fans

I know this is from 6 years ago, but I gotta ask: do you somehow have conditioned air in your attic? Trying to understand how the air from inside your home mixed with what comes thru the windows is somehow hotter and more humid than what's in an attic space. My attic welcomes the fresh air...

My MIL owns the first unit in a condo, & in her basement she has 3" pvc supply pipe that she branches off while it continues thru to the other units. I'm nearby and have 100lbs street pressure, so likely she has the same. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night with that in my basement.

    AC Soft Start Kit

I can't give you an intelligent answer other than to tell you that I needed to put a hard start kit on my 3 ton a/c unit when I self installed it 25 years ago, and it is still running with that today.

New roof placed, would this bother anyone else?

That's gotta be screw down R panel. I have that on my pole barn, but wouldn't put it on my house. Standing seam is much more $.

    Mossy roofs, ways to combat

I mix 4 parts water to 1 part bleach to take care of the mildew stains on my house roof every year or so. A couple years ago I had some left over, so I checked the roof on my shed in the woods & couldn't believe how bad the shingles were. All covered with moss & lumpy looking. Figured it was...

    are hvac, sales solicitor?

I walked in to a chain haircut joint wanting the obvious. She wanted my full name, address & phone number to get me in "the system". I said "look, I just want a haircut". She said "sorry, we need to get you in the system first". So I left & went to the other haircut chain. Wtf.

    Asphalt Millings + Geo Grid

I've been debating millings for quite some time, but if I ran across some that looked like that, I'd buy it in a heart beat. Keep us posted

Curious why a 4 post would be better for exhaust & driveline work?

If you used the fan top mount swivel as suggested in the post above yours, the box would not know the difference. The force would most certainly be straight down. Moreover, it would better tolerate any movement without all the leverage from such a long arm acting on the top mount.
