Who's worked on a Milwaukee Sawzall?

Had this one given to me because the previous owner couldn't get the switch resolved. Would like to get it working again considering it's vintage and where it's made. Really surprised at this switch design. Seems like they could have done better? Look at this old letter from 2003. I can't...

    Craftsman made in Taiwan

I know Craftsman tools take a lot of flack for being made in China. But how about if they were made in Taiwan instead? I was in Lowe's the other day. Appears the $20 1/4 ratchet is the China one and next to it; the $30 one is Taiwan. Anyone have both? Anyone noticed other Craftsman tools...

    Odd needle nose

Says "pat pend" yet no name or number on it. Was this just some attempt at a multi function pair of pliers? Ever seen ones like this before? https://postimg.cc/304J7Cs9

    Old round tape measure

Found this in a toolbox. Seems like would make for a nice pocket tape due to its shape. The spring doesn't have much rewind power. I turned it a few more turns and it didn't have an effect. Any tricks to give the spring more power? https://postimg.cc/gallery/ejar5ify/...

    Looking for #3 Philip's Stubby

Looked around and can't find even one. Ever seen one? This is for a light duty application; anything smaller chews up the center of the hardware. Not looking for a multi-bit driver.

    Chop Saws

Dewalt, Milwaukee, HF, etc. Going to be cutting a bunch of unistrut. Any saw the best or better then the rest or any that are no good? All the same? Used them before but never owned one. What have you used and your opinions on them?

    5/4 x 6 decking

Are these notorious for warping or the edges curling up? Any way to keep them flat? If they were ran through a planer; would they be even more susceptible to warping due to being thinner?

    Shopping for exterior paint

Repainting an attached garage. Haven't even begun shopping for paint. I know wallyworld sells it and the big box stores. And then there are "paint stores" of all things. Never been in one. Is paint, paint and the price is all the same everywhere? Or is there some junk paint out there or...

Converting a crawlspace into a basement

Just now starting to look into this. Appears to have been done before from what I have seen online. Converting it from 2' to 8'(or more). Not concerned about digging it out or the floor. Interested in the walls and supports for the house foundation. Anyone ever done it before or looked...

    Cost to run 220?

Meter is on the back of the house, and the panel is inside on the backside of the meter. House was built in 1975. Have unpopulated spaces left in the breaker box. Want to run a 220 outlet in the garage. About a 50-60' run from that back wall to the wall in the garage through the attic. I...

Insulating a garage door some more?

It has 1" thick foam from the factory. It appears to have space for one more inch. Would it make any difference at all hot or cold if the foam was doubled up to be worth the money and effort?

    That good spray

Bought some new pliers. Stiff and hard to open like a lot of "hot rivet" pivot pin type tools. Sprayed a little of this on it cause it was all I had on hand. They went from stiff to falling open. I'm sure there is a similar product on the market that is more readily available...
