How do I find good auctions for used welding equipment? I'm new at this.

Is it safe to foam spray around the air boots/registers to keep cold air draft out? Just bought cans of fire retardant Touch n' Seal foam gun II and want to make sure its safe because I'm not sure if it'll emit toxic fume when it gets too warm.

I had a guy over to bid on insulating the cathedral ceilings, for foam spray. He suggests that I go with dense blown-in fiber glass instead because it works better. I had to ask him how long he's been in business. 7 years. What am I missing here? The product is JM Climate Pro
