I'm wanting to mount something like the Gladiator cleat system between the 6x6 posts on my pole barn. Can I run some vertical 2x4 on 16" or 24" centers on the girt boards and then screw the cleat system to the 2x4's? I did something similar to hang my weedeaters and it seems plenty strong...
