I picked up this vise from a garage sale. It has no markings that I can find. It has a leg that extends down about three feet that is clamped to the bench for extra stability. I would guess it is pretty old. Does anybody know who made it and how old it is?

Which Hex to 3/8 socket adapter is stronger? I picked up a Makita Impact Gold wobble head part #B-35075 just because of the wobble I will probably just use this in tight locations. I don't expect this to hold up as well as a straight on adapter. So what adapter holds up the best?

Looking at Ridgid. Know 18v is more powerful but wonder is the 12v potent enough for most stuff.

Checking out the Milwaukee Drill/Driver kits today and it seemed the M18 Fuel Hex driver was physically smaller than the M12 hex driver. If so isn't it best to get the M18? More power and able to fit into tighter spots.
