    Garage sale workbench rebuild.

Found this old dealership/ mechanics metal work bench at a garage sale a month or so ago for 40 bucks... couldn’t pass it up. I figured it would go well in the garage to replace a couple crappy fold up tables I’ve been using over the years as I have been building my shop. Took it apart and...

Vintage Remline box for the kid

One of the guys at work has had this old Remline box off to the side for the past 13 years he has been here loaded with junk. My youngest son has recently come to work for us and having grown up with me always leaning towards “old ****” I guess he may have picked up a thing or two. His search...

Vintage Blackhawk SJ18 floor jack score!

Stumbled across this beauty today and picked it up. Cast aluminum and it works extremely well. Going to make a great restoration project. Anyone else here have one? Very Art Deco-ish streamlined Bonneville salt flats racer looking thing.

    Workbench time...

Guess I better find time to build that 2 inch square tube bench base I’ve been thinking about. Local cabinet door shop glued this up for me, 2 inch thick maple, 114” long and 24” wide. $649.00 seemed like a pretty fair price after looking around a bit. Fuggin heavy!

    Free Waterloo Top Box

Bought this many years ago at a close out warehouse for products from Graingers and it has just been sitting in the corner unused since. 40 inches wide, 19 1/4” tall with lid closed and 16” deep. No roller bearing slides here and it flooded during Hurricane Harvey. Has a bit of peeling paint but...

    Flood clean up

Finally got around to finishing up the interior of my home shop just in time for the recent floods to screw it all up. After getting the house back in order, finally got the sheetrock up, textured and painted. Trim going down and got the Armor Garage Epoxy mopped clean so I can start piling...

Repair parts for a Williams adjustable wrench??

I have an old Williams 6 inch adjustable wrench missing the thumbwheel and set screw. Probably not the proper terminology but what are the chances of finding those without buying a new wrench? Been cleaning up flood damaged tools since Harvey and decided to keep on cleaning even the ones that...
