VCT tile now done. Looks great!

I was thinking of using this also. But it looks like it would be a pain to clean. Any input on this?

    Cutting plexiglass?

I am not doubting you, but something about using water and electrical tools just doesn't sound right:shocking:. What is the trick to it?

    Cutting plexiglass?

I have tried using both a circular saw and a jig saw. Like I said it melted back together as I cut it. I have a dremel but did not think to use it. Not sure what blade to use with it. Since I do have several curve that will need to be cut, I am not sure a wheel will work.

Epoxy Paint vs. Regular (FREE) Paint on Floor

If you just set the paint can down somewhere that you think it is out of the way, someone will come come by and accidently knock it over and spill it out. This is not intentional and will stay down longer than anything else. My paint stain (don't know who spilled it) has been down for 10+ years...

Cold Winters - Do I need a "hot room" for Storage?

If it was paint that would be a quick way to mark your stuff.

    Anyone just paint the floor?

I do not have an answer for the OP, but I do have a question to add. Why is it if you spill paint by accident on your garage floor it seems to last forever?:headscrat I have a paint stain on mine from just after I moved in back in 1997. Of course I cleaned it up as soon as it happened but it is...

    Floor lift cement pour

I am still in the dreaming process of my garage. Of course one of the things I would like in my garage is a lift. Would I really need to pour a whole slab 10x10x8 for a a lift? Could I just have a 2x2x8deep area poured, under where each leg will be? Would there be enough $$$ $avings to even...

    painting garage walls

I guess I don't get it. It's a garage! While I agree and don't want it to look bad withhump and bumps, but I think the high gloss would be better even with imperfections. Mine is a garage and most of the walls are covered with racks tools ladders, ect.... You can't hardly see the taped spots...

    TuffShed?

A few years back I was looking at a few different shed builders to build me a shed. I finally broke the bank and built it myself. I built a 14x16x8 wood shed for under $600. It cost me another $200 for the slab. So $800 total give or take a few bucks. The sheds I was looking to buy had wood...

    Anyone have a Versatube Garage?

You have a point, Steel does seem to hold cold/heat longer than wood. I did not think about that. Exactly why I asked this question.

    Stick or steel Poll

Well, one of the main reasons I want to build a shop is because of winters. My wife really would not be happy if I do a long project in our attached garage. She insists on parking the cars in there every night. But winters especially. She is not happy if she has to scape her windows in the...

I am looking seriously at a Steel garage/shop from carports.com the local company is Versatube. The one I am looking at is the (insulated) 30X32X12 for $10,085 not counting the pad/slab or power. Expansion crack filler

I am getting tired of cleaning out the expansion cracks (cuts) in my garage floor. Is there a special caulk to use, or can I just use any none hardening caulk to fill these in? Or is this just a bad idea to fill them in?
