    Worthy Snowblower

For me the important thing is Horsepower. You can’t go just by bucket width. I have an Ariens 24 inch but a strong 8hp motor purchased in 2001. I’ve seen thier newest models in the big box sores and can tell they are cutting corners to keep a specific price point. If something happens to my...

    Wright or Snapon sockets

We’ll some of it has come in. Was going to post pictures once it’s all in but here are a few. Totally satisfied. While I’m sure Snap On’s chrome is better, these sockets scream quality......

    quick reslease

I prefer QR. I’m not a professional auto mechanic so to me its just simpler to take sockets on and off. There has been much discussion on how most Snapon guys with non QR ratchets HATE the Craftsman sockets due to it being so difficult to take off. My go to 3/8 ratchet is a Snapon FR80 and it...

    Wright or Snapon sockets

thanks all for your replies.....I decided to go with Wright. Price and this comment I have Wright and Snap on and it's not Apple's to Apple's ,Wright sockets are thicker and designed for industrial use and Snap on is for auto repair what both have in common are strong quality steel, USA made...

Only really have a need for shallow. (Or at least right now) since you have both and would have to choose, which would you pick?

    Wright or Snapon sockets

Thanks for the input, but heart is set in either Wright or Snapon. Seems like the only thing I’ve ever liked from Stanley is their tape measures....:)

    Wright or Snapon sockets

Looking at replacing my old G series Craftsman 1/4 drive sockets (SAE and Metric) Looking for a noticeable upgrade. Have decided either Snap on or Wright. I have a Wright set at work, but never seen the Snap on first hand. I don’t mind spending the extra $$ as long as I can see a difference in...

    Bluepoint Long Metric Wrenches

Not that it makes a difference to some, but I was surprised when I looked online and saw that the Blue Points are now Made in China. I thought they were Tawain.... I don't want this to turn into a COO thing, just noticed it and thought I pass along....

Not sure which sockets set to get

I'm also in the market for sockets. I currently have USA Craftsman and looking for something better. I don't need to get better, but now being beyond the child bearing years and been blessed with a good paying job, I just want a VERY GOOD socket set. I have Snap on, Wright, SK, Armstrong...

    question about snap on account

I'm not a professional mechanic, never been on a truck, but can't believe why any dealer would do "truck credit". Has to be the riskiest way to make money. (Basically loaning out your personal money for 0% interest) To me that's just crazy...

    Craftsman Ratchet Rebuild Kits

I don't believe you can. Even the USA pearhead 36t takes a different rebuild kit as the Chinese 36t.

Combination Open End/Flex Head Socket Wrenches

I use my 9/16 for adjusting skids on my snowblower. Either grab a ratchet and socket or just the flex wrench, which is faster (Standard combo wrench doesn't fit in the skid) I didn't buy the set for that reason, but I've had my set since I was a kid.
