A sears 3 1/2 hp electric This is a great way to look at things and makes sense for me. For the few times I may actually use it now, I will just wait to buy something better that will last longer.

well ts easier for me considering I have only had to change one and buy the o2 sensor from them anyways. plus they are 1 mile from my house. But yeah buying from HF is a good idea to.

I should be getting my Grip socket trays tomorrow in the mail, so I will be able to give more info then but so far the 1/2 one I have works great and it even has enough room for impact sockets. They are wider then the HF ones and cheaper then hansen trays. They come in sae and mm so heres a link...

Thanks for all the info and advice. I knew I wouldnt be getting the best tools as it was pretty cheap, but it seems like they would be a waste of money so I will just wait and save for better stuff and probably buy the stuff individually.

I also dont feel that the sockets have to match. The majority of the sockets I have are SK and craftsman, but I have a feeling I will need some more to finish sets, so it will be whatever is affordable at pawnshops, garage sales, etc. (preferably US made though)

Im not sure if the metrics skip sizes or not because I havent seen them at all, but I do have a 1/2 drive and its longer then the HF 1/2 drive tray and the sockets do fit better. They also dont feel as cheap IMO. Im hoping the 3/8 and 1/4 are as good as the 1/2 because I am very impressed with...
