Walker jack - scored or stiffed?

Walker jack - rebuild questions Picked up a Walker 93657 jack this morning. As I picked it up: When I got it home, I got a little nervous. It was in worse shape than I realized. The rust was pretty thick and left flakes all over the place, and the front wheel on top was stuck...

IR Garage Mate air compressor intake filters

EDIT: SOLD I don't know what I was thinking when I bought so many of these. My loss is your gain. 4 of IR part number 23192131, air filter element for the Garage Mate compressor at Northern. Northern doesn't sell these filters. All are brand new in the factory bags and boxes. $10 each plus...

    Recommendation for a nutsert kit?

I'm building a ham radio box with an aluminum frame to which I'll need to mount radio brackets. Any recommendations for an inexpensive nutsert kit (other than HF)?

    Winterizing Sprinklers with Backflow Preventer?

I moved into a new house last year with an underground sprinkler system, and I didn't have it winterized last fall. I think I'd like to winterize it myself this year. In looking at the system I found the main sprinkler off valve, and I know where all the zone control valves are. I also have a...

    Mac T-slider question

Recently picked this Mac V18T 1/2" T-slider up off Ebay, and as you can see in the second photo there's no press-fit ball to lock the slider into place on the crossbar. Is this the way this tool is supposed to be, or is there supposed to be a spring-loaded ball?

    Ebay - stiffed?

I bought what was advertised as a good condition IR 231c on ebay. When the gun arrived it was in good shape but it's a 231a instead of a 231c. How upset should I be??

    Ingersoll-Rand 2130 Impact Wrench

One of these just popped up on a local CL for $75 & I can't find much on this board or elsewhere. One of the reasons I like it is is has downward-facing exhaust instead of front exhaust. The one for sale seems to be in good shape. I've been considering a used IR231C or one of the HF...

    So what is this thing?

Picked it up on my latest pawn shop visit. Sorry for the blurry photo, but I couldn't get the camera to focus. You can't see it in the photo, but there's a set screw in the collar that looks like it holds in the center bit. It looks like some sort of bolt remover, but I couldn't tell...

    Free Stuff

I have 5 wrench racks that came with my GearWrench sets (like shown here - just the plastic rack - no wrenches) and 10 or so HF socket rails (like these - no sockets - just the rails). There's a mix of 1/4, 3/8, & 1/2. Yours free, just pay shipping in a USPS flat rate box. First to IM me gets...

Do All Snap-On 3/8 ratchets use the same ball for pawl?

Last night I was cleaning a Snap-On FK830 and, wouldn't you know it, even using the SO ratchet rebuild tool the dang ball for pawl sprang (sprung?) out & is now lying somewhere in the garage. Chances of finding it are about slim to none. I generally reassemble small spring-loaded parts inside...

    Hello from NC

Longtime lurker, first-time register(er?). This is a great forum & looking forward to participating. I just moved into a new home and went from a 3-car garage to a 2-car. I'm using industrial pallet racking to store up rather than out, which is different than what I'm used to. I recently...
