Recommend me a good Cordless Screwdriver

The DeWalt Gyroscopic driver was a game changer for me. I have been using one for probably close to 10 years now at work. It gets used almost daily and is still kicking. The only complaint I have is that the LED light stopped working about 3 years ago. I hope they are not discontinuing it, I...

If you go the Bambu route, which I can't recommend enough to people, hopefully you have a microcenter nearby because you can't order them to the US right now. I was on their site yesterday poking around because a co-worker was interested in ordering one after he witnessed mine printing ...he...

Can you put something on impact sockets you won’t use for a real long time to prevent rust?

Boeshield T-9 available on Amazon works extremely well for stuff like that.

A couple years ago I was at the turbine engine shop of one of our air force bases. They were 3D printing FOD covers for some of the gas turbine engines they remanufacture. You could literally stand on the print bed.

Need some advice from the more experienced printer people here. What material would you recommend I print this piece out of? I just used some PLA I had on hand to test fitment...drove around a bit to check function as well. As the engine bay heat started getting hot, it started to really...

Dodged a bullet on this one, I think...

If you are doing a lot of tapping, invest in some tap sockets. If not, just use a 12 point socket. Tap wrenches belong in the trash.

    lost and later found tools

Lost my favorite pocket knife for about a year and a half. Was convinced some POS stole it off my toolbox at work. Found it laying in a stack of micro fiber towels I had folded when I washed them last. :geek:

    Hex key deep dive

I work for a capital equipment machine manufacturer where we use SHCS almost exclusively. Bondhus is the gold standard at our shop. My T handles are almost 30 years old. My hex keys are at least 10 years old. I've only broken the balls off 1/8" and under. My hex key set is used so much...
