Thought I'd throw some pics of the project up (dial up warning)

Wow, that was intense! Took me a few timse to comprehend it all, but thats neat. We need to just pick one bulb, and fill the garage with it. Most of the fixtures we bought surplus and they had a mix of lights. We did buy a lot of cool white plus's to put up, but still didn't have enough to...

Can anyone identify this butterfly ratchet?

I ran around to a few yard sales, and a pawn shop or two today and picked up some stuff. I can't seem to identify this butterfly gun though? I figured since it worked and was marked $5 it couldnt hurt. While i have a post, I might as well show off what else I bought.. I picked up two seperate...

Got some more fixtures in, all along the sides and down the center. They look a little yellow in the pictures, not sure why. Some of them may be though, we alternated 34w lights in every other fixture down the center, because we ran out of 40w's when we were installing them. Soon we will replace...

    Ingersoll Rand rebuild kits?

Thanks for that writeup...but...the ratchet spins freely, but the drive square is broken off. I think its also missing a lot of the washers, and the snap ring is also missing. I just need to replace some parts on it, and do not know where to find them. Thanks again!

    Ingersoll Rand rebuild kits?

I've got a 1/4in air ratchet model 103 that was in a bag of stuff I picked up, but its all sorts of broken. I can hook air up to it and it makes noise, but its everything else that is broken. Just wondering if I could possibly get a rebuild kit for it. Thanks!

I can't really tell you what specs they are, as I don't remember (my dad will) but I can assure you its VERY bright, the pics really don't show it. My cameras auto-darkening mode won't let me take a good pic of it. The larger holes are for more lights, and the smaller holes are for access holes...

Ok, over the past two days we got the walls painted a darker grey, and put our HID's up. This is what a lot of money in lighting looks like. I love it, and we still have 13 other lights to hang! Its friggin bright in there, I took that pic at 11:30pm:shocking:

Thank goodness the sanding is finally over with!!! I was about ready to kill myself. Almost ready for paint...need to sand it again and hopefully we will be able to move on. This has been the worst thing we have done yet, in my eyes. I absolutely hate sheetrock work. If I've learned one thing from this it would be this: if I ever build my own house...I'm hiring someone to do the...

Dunno if they are any good or not, but I went to kmart today and just went through the tool isle..I saw they had stanley indexing ratchets on clearance for $15 for the the 3/8 and $12 on the 1/4. I didn't buy one yet...I didn't have enough cash on me but I might go back in a couple of days and...

Yes, that is plastic over the insulation. Since the insulation had to be cut into odd shapes, the plastic insures a continuous vapor barrier. My dad was the 'architect.' He even designed the raised truss for the loft and had it approved and built by the truss company. Dad may have been the one...
