I know the guy I purchased it from said he bought it used off the MAC truck and used it for years as an airline mech.

Is there a way to confirm like a place where they would have put the actual maker...It all seems correct to me...Looking at the bracket behind the MAC emblem all looks factory built.

Its mine I bought it several years back...it's in very good shape extremely heavy. Works good for me...just been curious about it

Can you help ID this MAC toolbox I'm looking for aprx. year and model? I was wondering if they made a matching box on the top.

I looked through that thread and didnt see anything that matched it. Mine actually has a cabinet on the side and chrome handles and it does not have roller sliders just the old standard friction style slides. On the back of it, it has two doors that open for more storage.

I have an old MAC tool box maybe early 80s 45" wide. I was wondering if some of you could post some older MAC boxes so that I could identify mine and see if they made a top for it. Ill try and get some pics of it in the near future.

This has maybe been discussed but I would like to see what some of you have done with low ceiling attics? I have about 5'8" of head room and I am brainstorming ways to make it useful. Any ideas
