Plumbed my new shop for compressed air - several pictures

I believe that it has to do with ocean freight. You can stick more ~ 19 foot sections of pipe in a 40-foot container. Transair is a nice product made by Parker. Your install looks nicer than most industrial facilities that I've visited. The tee fittings in this application are inconsequential...

How often do you hit a spot where only a single tool would work and what was it?

I'll second that comment! That little bit rachet has saved me a fortune in time and money replacing tough to access bolts and screws.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I replaced the tie rod ends and stabilizer links on the C70 today. (I still haven't tackled the broken bolt). As you can see, they were pretty shot. One of the jam nuts refused to come lose so I cut it with a M12 rotary tool and then used a chisel to turn it. I win!

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I started to change out the front control arms on the C70. I also changed an engine mount. It isn't a bad job, but it sure would have been easier on a lift. The old adage that a simple job is one broken bolt away from a disaster is applicable here. I followed the work instructions and...

Welcome to the new world of "sustainability" - whatever the heck that word means. The insulation is biodegradable which means the consumer gets to buy new parts more often, the manufacturer gets to make more money, the environment gets damaged from the copper mining process and the atmosphere...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I got my **** kicked while replacing the window regulator cables on the 2002 Volvo C70. What a bear of a job. There's fragmented information on the interwebs and Youtube so I had to kind of make things up as a I went along. I eventually had to bring in a consultant (wife) who has a better sense...
