Burned up my 20v Dewalt drill a few months ago, finally got around to replacing it. Got a decent deal on the Milwaukee brushless combo. Been looking to switch over anyway cause I love the M12 line and the 18v impacts

Yeah it’s thru holes, the bolts thread into the two holes in the mounting pad on the trans tailpiece. And yeah, it’s main function is a spacer to get angles right but it does also function as secondary isolation

It’s a piece of Delrin. Originally I was gonna use the stock crossmember and modify it to work, but to get my angles right, the trans had to be tilted to where it is and it set the mount 1.5” above the top of the crossmember. Then I decided to build a crossmember but also kept the block of...

    Auto darkening welding helmet

Picked up a Miller Digital Infinity last year to replace some auto darkening helmet I had bought off Amazon. It wasn’t cheap but it was totally worth the money.

Need Gate help from the fence experts

So after my neighbors were extremely courteous put up fences around 2 sides of my yard, my wife and I decided to finish off the other long side and then across the front. Now this brings me to my dilemma. How to build the gate that will span 11 feet to allow us to drive through it, but also not...

    Stihl & Husqvarna chainsaws

I don't have a pro grade chainsaw but I've had my Husky 440 with an 18" bar for the last 5 years and have zero complaints. I just replaced the chain again a week and a half ago with one of the X-Cut chains and it was great. When I first shopped for chainsaws, I looked at Stihl but it just...

Grabbed this off Facebook marketplace, but I’m 99% certain it’s from a GJ’er based on seeing the same pictures on the classifieds here.

    what is the best welder?

If you're just looking for MIG welding, it's hard to beat the Miller 211. The MDX100 gun that the new ones come with is one of the better stock guns I've used. And of course, just about everywhere carries Miller consumables. The Autoset is also great, if anything it runs a touch hot but I've...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Finally ordered a 2457-20 3/8” M12 ratchet. Couldn’t really justify the extra cost of the Fuel version but it’ll be infinitely helpful when I do more engine bay work on my truck.

I’d definitely use the corded one for it. It’d be semi permanent on my work bench so no point in going cordless for that one.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I definitely have a similar opinion, although my so called large battery 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2” impacts and cordless drill are Dewalt because that’s what I was invested in early on and also what my wife and dad bought me, I think for size and power, especially doing engine bay work and general...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

This was done Sunday but pretty much got sick an hour after I finished till this morning and didn’t feel much like posting, but I cleared everything off the two walls that I’m having a contractor look at for pouring a concrete footer and a course of block to match the other wall that one done...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I can’t complain about the thickness of the fire grinder. I also have fairly large hands and they don’t crank up holding the Milwaukee like they do when I using my pneumatic die grinder for extended periods.
