Dont bother....I have a Whip, it is a tank, great power unit, crazy thick arms but isnt ALI certified and not a Bendpak or $1595 so its pretty much overlooked. Which is unfortunate because for under $3000 it is a great choice.
x2 on Milwaukee. I stopped down at a local hydraulic repair shop before I bought mine and they had just finished "restoring" a Milwaukee which was apparently manufactured in the late 50s. They did a clean up, seals and it worked like new.
Lots of guy cant believe I paid $500 for a floorjack...
I contacted my lift maker and they said AW32 is recommended.....and ATF will work if its the only thing available.
If you have a Sams club close, I think I paid $38 for the 5 gallon bucket.
If you are looking for the reclamed look you can buy raw panels, spray them with a salt solution, stack them and let them sit for a week.....they will look 50 yrs old...
I have a Quincy QT5 and if I remember correctly the actual pump is made in India...Its been a few years but I called and think thats what they said.
At the time the one that surprised me was the Campbell Hausfield Industrial/Commercials were made entirely in the US.
Might be worth a few...
