Re: ***New RaceDeck Garage Install*** Nice way to start off your first post! :rocker:

    More racedeck for the shed

It's a Tuff Shed. Had it for 15 years now. It's held up very well. I liked it enough to build a 20x29 Tuff Shed garage next to it. :D

    More racedeck for the shed

Thanks for the hint. It's got some decent space on the West and North sides. :) I'm not very consistent with the circular saw. :( I was bitching the whole time about how nice one of those tile cutters would be!

    That's how you learn. :bounce:

    Air line question

It's going to be low duty cycle. I'm powering the shed with an extension cord from the garage. So, I'm already moving cord. A few feet of hose won't be a bother. :)

    Air line question

haha! The hose on the ground is going to have to work for me. It's the lowest cost and labor option. :bounce:

    More racedeck for the shed

I put the same color in my shed, as I did in the garage. This is the best stuff. I'm very pleased with it.

Would you happen to have a photo of the correct usage? Thanks!

    Air line question

This is going to be a pretty light duty setup. I was planning to have a desiccant dryer/filter and regulator just before the cabinet anyway. During the summer, you work in the early am or late pm. If it doesn't work out, the black pipe will get the call. I just want to make it easy on myself...

    Air line question

I'm just going to drop a hose between the buildings. I want to make it as easy on myself as I can. :bounce:

    The electric shed

Thanks for the advice on fixing the mistakes, friends. I picked up the isolator bushings and a male outlet. I also got a shorter cord. I ordered some more racedeck and put in the floor to match the garage. I'm very pleased with the LED lights.

Your media blaster and static electricity.

That's a great idea, to ground the work. I'm still going to ground the whole unit. :eyecrazy:

    Air line question

I'll get a pic up tonight. The compressor is in the garage, and the cabinet will be in the shed. I don't think I want to bury any lines. That's kind of what I have in mind. An outlet on the outside of the garage to an inlet on the outside of the shed. I'm going to get a desiccant dryer with...

    Air line question

    The compressor is a 5hp 80gal CH.

    Air line question

My blast cabinet will be in the shed, about 25ft from the garage, where the compressor is. I was wondering if a 1/2 inch line is appropriate between the two buildings. I'm going to have connectors on both buildings. Thanks.

Your media blaster and static electricity.

I purchased a Skat blast that is on the way. I've used blasters in the past and always get zapped. TP sells a grounding kit that grounds the head of the sprayer. My experience is that I get shocked touching the frame of the cabinet with my arm. I was thinking of grounding the whole unit to a...

    How do you do it?

No wife, no kids, fortunate to have a good job that I love doing and pays pretty well. The only loans I have are the house, airplane and a small car loan. I saved the cash to build my 20x29 garage. Actually, I put it on my Southwest card, and paid it off as the bills came in. Lot's of points...

    The electric shed

Thanks for the info. I'll get the correct bushings for the switch. I'm plugged into a GCFI outlet from the garage. I just ordered the proper inlet. Thanks for the info.
