    The electric shed

I didn't even know they made such a thing. Thanks! They don't frown on power to a shed, just permanent power. The shed is considered a temporary structure, as it can be moved.

    The electric shed

I asked the electrician who wired my garage about that. He told me the county would rather have me run a cord. They don't like permanent power to a temporary building.

    The electric shed

I guess you would. But, why would you do that in the first place?

    The electric shed

As part of my Tuff Shed garage project, I'm turning my 8x14 Tuff Shed into my dirty room. The drill press, grinders, media blaster and that kind of stuff with go into it. The first order of business was cleaning it out and putting in electric. The lights are Philips T8 LED's that drop into a...

    Air tool storage project

Lot's of good ideas here. My girlfriend recently purchased a small floor safe. It came on two steel skids. She asked if I could use them for anything. Duh! One was bent a bit, so I used the other one. This is the picture of the bent one. I worked out my little HF drill press pretty...

    Removing a decal

I have a feeling you may be correct. Leaving it alone is probably the best idea. I may try a little dab of brake fluid on a corner.

    Removing a decal

I tried the heat gun and a blade. No dice. It may be screen printed on. I thought they were water slide decals and I would have it off in a minute also. It really is glass.

    Removing a decal

It's the original base. There is printing missing on the white area. Also, I can't leave anything alone. :bounce:

    Removing a decal

I kind of thought it was paint, when I couldn't get a blade under it. MEK should have made short work of it, but, MEK these days is pretty diluted. I wish I had a can of the MEK we used in the Air Force, back in the 80's. That was some ******** chemical. :rocker: I'll try the lacquer thinner...

    Removing a decal

I have an old Ford gumball machine. I'm trying to replace the sticker on the glass bowl. I've tried: hot water, heat, WD40, MEK, and Goo Gone. Didn't make a dent. Does anyone have a better idea? Thanks. :eyecrazy:
