Best workbench surface... opinions?
I am still struggling with this issue myelf. I have built my workbench top out of two pieces of 3/4 " plywood covered with 1/4" MDF My plan was to glue some 18 Ga.stainless over top . I brought a piece home from Metal Supermarket and I do like how it cleans up and it appears to be fairly...- 89vert

Critique my lighting layout please...
I agree , you'll get much more efficient light from using the appropriate Fluorecent fixtures, as well as better light distribution .They are also super bright if you installl the day light tubes . Beach Tool boxes got bought ,I believe by Gray Tools in Canada. The other manufacturer of tool boxes in Canada are SPG and Waterloo. I have a Craftsman cabinet as well and I'm almost certain that it's made by Waterloo.- 89vert

Stainless steel Bench Top
I have just finished building my new bench . It's about 13 feet long and 26 " wide .The top is two layers of 3/4" plywood. I can get some 18 gauge stainless for the top locally , but they can only supply it in 8 ft lengths , so I'll end up with a piece top . What's the best way to attach it to...- 89vert
