I would recommend the Milton High flow Type V couplers, also Goodyear hose too. Check around for hose. Last time I was at Harbor Freight they had a good selection of Goodyear hose. Just make sure you grab the Goodyear. Or just drop ship the hose from online somewhere. You could always cut a 50'...

Yep drill and tap is what I would do. Otherwise just a regular thru bolt should work fine. At the top of the post there isn't really anything moving to interfere with on most lifts. Of course look at your lift fully raised and see what kinda clearance you have.
