Ceiling Bike Hoist install in Houston

I would be shocked if there weren't several videos on YouTube showing exactly how to install whichever model you end up buying. It won't be a hard job, and you're been wanting an impact driver for a while now haven't you?

    Makita Addiction Thread

I scored a deal yesterday, found the 36v brushless lawnmower on FB for $125. Brought it home and it's working great. Uses the same batteries as all my other tools, which I think is still the smartest move Makita ever made and the main reason I'll be their customer for as long as they continue...

    Cheap Chinese excavators

Sure 40 years ago was a different story. I just don't understand why they're leaving money on the table. All of these Alibaba sellers have people who speak English. It shouldn't be that hard to make parts available to the western markets

    Cheap Chinese excavators

These little excavators are everywhere now, along with the 13hp mini skid loaders. They're all clearly made in the same factory, why doesn't the manufacturer throw up an English-language website and start selling parts? Or even partner with someone like Amazon to handle distribution? They...

Ratcheting Wrench vs Ratchet - Which One Should I Get?

By far the most useful recent tool for me, as a home/farm machanic and homeowner, has been a 3/8" battery impact driver. It speeds up every job and I use it over a ratchet or screwdriver wherever possible. If you don't have one It's money well spent compared to any set of specialty sockets imo

Ratcheting Wrench vs Ratchet - Which One Should I Get?

I use my ratcheting wrenches constantly. Get an inexpensive set from HF or gearwrench. They're like $30 for the common metric sizes, less on sale. While you're there grab a flex head ratchet too. You'll use them both. That nano thing seems like a gimmick to me

paint spray gun not spraying enough paint; causes?

If you haven't, make sure to remove the fluid needle and the fluid tip and clean them out too. I throw those little filters straight in the trash, just a problem waiting to happen.

    Makita Addiction Thread

Speaking of failures, my Makita 18v cordless fan bit the dust last week. It can't be that complicated so I'm going to try to fix it, but still annoying and disappointing. It wasn't cheap when I bought it a couple years ago

How strict are they on the "one coupon per person per day" bit? I have like 5 things I want to grab, do I need to load up the car with friends and family?

    Tornados, trees and Chainsaws UPDATE

Honestly man, just hire it out. Dealing with 24" wide downed trees is seriously hard, dangerous work unless you have heavy equipment available, which makes it a breeze. How are you going to roll the logs to finish bucking them? How are you going to lift the rounds to move them to the...

    40v Ryobi post hole digger?

With our soil even my 18hp pto auger struggles sometimes. I've had to borrow my in-laws 40hp tractor more than once to put in a post. Hand digging is practically impossible in the summer if it's dry. Clay is no joke.

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

Slick! Was it hard to do? Any soldering involved? I use my braun light every day and I like most of the improvements on the icon. But the light on the wrong side of the hinge was a deal breaker for me.

Starlink at Home Depot, $349 in very select areas only ($314 after 10% coupon from cc/military)

So to use starlink internet you have to buy the dish/receiver? And you're responsible if they quit working? That's disappointing, satellite TV provides those for you. If I have to buy the equipment the service should be free...
