Print waste recycling, or just DIY filament from pellets? It would be awesome if there were PLA recycling programs in the US.

Time to start saving some more pennies. This is exactly what I've been waiting for! Not that I need a large format printer, but it is high on the want list. I can still print small stuff on a big printer... There are some prints that are nice to not have to break into smaller pieces and peg/glue...

    Gridfinity Tool Storage

For the base plates, I like this customizable generator. It will divide larger trays into pieces that fit the print area (for bambu at least), and adds little tabs to snap all the pieces together. It gives the option of adding 1/2 grid sections too, if the drawer size doesn't fit complete grids...

You can run the printer unconnected. You would transfer files for printing on an SD card. You lose the camera and monitoring ability of being online, but it still prints.

I went with the P1S. I haven't felt the need for any of the functionality of the X1C for my use. I purchased some extra nozzles (hardened and different sizes), but I wish I would have bought the full assembly. Changing just the nozzle takes a lot of time vs the full nozzle/fan assembly. I'm...

The cheap plastic tensioners on my cheap Hobart welding helmet snapped a while ago. I finally took a few minutes to measure up and model a replacement setup so my helmet is fully functional again! This was my first time imbedding hardware, and I'm pleased to say that my first design worked...

I started improving my tool box organization with Gridfinity over the last week. I finally finished one drawer. I'm moving on to the SAE drawer next... I also printed a full-size Master Sword for fun. My kid thinks it's his, but really, I printed it for me

    Garden/Weed Sprayer

I also have the Harbor Freight backpack sprayer. I know about how much I need to spray my yard, so I only fill it and mix that amount. I'm usually pretty dang close. When done, I put a bit of water in it, spray it for 30 seconds, then dump the water. I haven't had any issues with it after 5...

    Show us your sewing projects!

I've been working on a laptop bag for work, that can also double as a weekend travel bag (just big enough for a couple days' worth of clothes and travel essentials). It took me a lot of time to sketch it out, pick out the features I wanted, and then template it out to get true measurements. I...

It has a clear glass build plate on it. I fired it up, and it is running an older version of Marlin (TH3D U1.R2.14). I need to do some research on how to set up a printer like this for slicing, then I can run some calibration prints. The heated bed has its own controller (with a separate power...

I have no idea. Probably? Why thank you! It is rare that I find a deal that is "you ****" worthy  I honestly don't know what I'll do with this thing. There have been very few things I've wanted to print that would use this much build volume. Maybe I'll start with a giant benchy.

My wife is the admin for the director of the R&D team at a medical device company. Her boss dropped this monster printer off last night. They were throwing it out, and he just didn't feel right about tossing it. He says it still works fine, they just got a fancier printer and don't need this any...

You can use nearly 2kg of filament and build an AMS riser, which raises the glass top enough to clear the PTFE tubing  I got started on my Gridfinity organization project. I began with my sewing space, since I've been doing a lot of sewing recently. One drawer down, two to go. Then I...

That's not too bad if you are printing lots of same-color items. FYI for others in the thread, the $10 per kg is with a $7/month membership, and it is on 3kg spools. For my current use I'm not sure I could justify the membership when there are other sources of filament at similar costs. Plus...

The P1S landed yesterday! There were a couple of dings on the box, so I was worried about broken glass. Fortunately, it is well packaged, and everything was in good order. After I finished work, I got it set up a printed a benchy. Amazing speed and quality! And it is so easy to set up prints and...
