I just got a Sunlu S4 (does up to 4 spools). It seems to work well. They sell a single and dual version also. Alternatively, you can use a food dehydrator.

    The NewAge Products $5k WINNER!

Hey, this is Garage Journal. Isn't the proper response, "you ****!" ?

I got a big box of accessories from Bambu (hotends/nozzles, build plates, etc.), and they threw in 2 spools of filament! I got a nice dark blue matte PLA and a spool of PA6-GF - a pretty pricey material! I'm excited to try that one out. Now I just need to be patient for the printer that won't...

You are an excellent resource for this kind of thing. Out of all the printers you have, and all the hours they print, how often does a significant failure happen?

    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

Well, I finally pulled the trigger on a P1S since I got a nice end-of-year bonus. My big hope is to print more. I am finding that with my E3v2, I am wanting to print less because it is such a hassle print. Constant bed leveling, print quality, speed (lack of it), and constant...

    Olsen Spec Projects

@BORING HOP YARD that is very interesting information about washers! My dad taught me to do it similarly. He said the sharp side should go away from the nicer surface or part. I always assumed it was because of his OCD about not wanting to mar a pretty surface, but maybe his reasoning was more...

    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

I have been putting off buying a new printer for a while. That new Prusa will probably be the one. I have been looking hard at Bambu, but there are several little things that I just don't like about it. The Prusa addresses many of those (still would like a bigger build volume...).

Burns Projects that will never be finished

You might not be able to with the New Age work top. It is two parts and the cabinets connect the two pieces together. You would need to use a different, single work top to span the gap.

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The Mary Kay Garage

There's a good e-Vespa build on ADV-rider forums. It was an older Vespa, but wasn't a plug-n-play kit. I think you would lose much of the handy storage space going electric, which would make it a little less useful as a grocery-getter.

50mm/s is the speed the nozzle can travel; it has nothing to do with the filament flowing through the nozzle, other than you can't move the nozzle faster than the plastic can flow effectively through it.

    Quick Release Mirror Mount

That's good to know! I haven't used them, but have thought about them as an option.

    Quick Release Mirror Mount

That's a clever solution! I would have hit the easy button and bought some Doubletake mirrors.

I can't believe I waited so long to get a PEI print surface! I've been printing for 4 years now on the same Ender 3 V2 glass bed. I was never able to get anything to stick to the textured side of the glass, but the smooth side worked fine with a little glue. But it was a pain always having to...

That sounds like it will be a great trip! I hope the weather is good for you guys. I understand having to explain family like that. My wife says I don't have a family tree, I have a family web. I was adopted. My adoptive parents divorced when I was 3, and both remarried. I connected with my...

Has Anyone Torn Down a Garage and Rebuilt?

I tore down and rebuilt. When we bought the place, we planned to do it. We couldn't find any place with a decent garage. They are all half carports, or tiny, or falling apart. The original garage was cobbled together, the electrical was sketchy, and the floor was broken and unlevel. The demo...

    Show us your sewing projects!

I've been really happy with my Janome HD3000. They have an HD1000 and HD5000. The biggest differences are the types of stitches they do, not the heavy-duty-ness of them. They are simple to use, only have a few dials to change stitches, zig-zag width, stitch length, and tension. It is very easy...

I finished the seat for my other bike last night. It passes the sit test in the garage, and the morning commute to work test. I'm excited to try it on a long trip to California next weekend (assuming the state hasn't washed away
