What's the biggest socket size you have ?

This is the largest metric socket I have 36mm. I don't know where it came from or who made it. My largest SAE is 2-1/4 from a Proto set I got from my grandfather.

    2022 Garage Sale Thread

I had time to kill while my youngest had a volleyball tournment today. FB marketplace showed a garage sale about 15 minutes away from the school where we were. No pictures, but it said they had tools. I figured it was going to be lawn/garden stuff. I was suprised at what they had and the prices...

    Show your new tool arrivals

I stopped at TSC on my way home to grab some dog food. I always check out the bins by the front. They were both discounted to 20.00 each. I don't know if the tap set will get me away from tap sockets but I'll give it a try. The two handled ratcheting set I think will come in handy.

Anyone have a connection for better pricing on a 4 post lift?

We have an independent auto parts house that also sells and services lifts. We just bought a used four and two post lift from them. The four post was a 14,000 Lb challenger that came with drip trays and caster to move it for 3500, that included delivery and set-up. Check around your area.

    Harbor Freight blast cabinet mods.

As ohmthis said the sticky is/was very useful when we started modding ours. One we used a door skin we had laying around the shop, Panel bonded it to the door. On another we used apiece of plexiglass, silicon around the edge and selftapping screws to mount it to the door. I used some high temp...

Awesome tools you have but never use

I bought mine from a Tech that was retiring. I've only ever used the puller with a slide hammer once. I don't think he ever used it. My indexing pry bar is the thing I grab to pop out CV axels.

Hey Socket Manufacturers, Would It Kill You To.......

When I finally broke down and started looking for complete sets of metric impact sockets I found these KT Pro, they are both stamped and laser etched. I don't use metric much but they have been used for their intended purpose and as spacers on the press with no problems. Most hobby stores sell...

    Show Your Vintage Knife

This a knife made by the gentlemen that restored my knife. I have no idea how old it is but I can remember my uncle always having it in his truck. My dad started making knifes for his friends in the late 80's. This is one of the first knifes he made. This is the last one. I've had it in my...

    Show Your Vintage Knife

gpw_42 No I traded a offshore Rambo style knife way back it the 80's when I was in High School. It was in pretty bad shape when I got it. Someone used it for a hammer. The reason the stamped S&W on the spine is thin and the handle was split then wrapped in tape, but I thought it was cool. My Dad...
