US General 56" toolbox weight? - UPDATE - IT'S HOME

You MIGHT be able to turn them perpendicular on the trailer and fit, itd'd be close 5' = 60" on a 56" box. Then add in 3" for the handle, plus the width of packaging material or pallet adding width. Of course youd have to slide them in a little awkwardly. Buuuttt, the 5x8 could carry them.

US General 56" toolbox weight? - UPDATE - IT'S HOME

Appreciate it. Cargo trailer w drop down ramp is what we'll do. Originally it was try to load them into the truck bed but after your post and then seeing the weight on an old GJ post HERE (48lb!) and knowing what my 44" set was like to move... :headshake I do have straps but I plan on...

US General 56" toolbox weight? - UPDATE - IT'S HOME

Anyone know the empty, uncrated weight of a series 1 professional top and bottom toolbox? Will move a set this week and I'm thinking trailer w ramps is the easiest and safest option.

Cordless mini Chainsaw that does not leak oil?

All chainsaws leak oil. Got 5 Stihl, Echo and Milwalkee gas and battery saw here- they leak. Store and use with that understanding. Though I'm curious, you said it was leaking on you when you used it. Was it dripping like a water hose with a bum rubber ring? It shouldn't leak like that. I...

    Grease gun problem

I made a post a while back after having a similar fight with the grease gun. I quit the old grease guns and bought a Lube Shuttle at the recommendation of the guys here. With one arm it's difficult to fight with the traditional plunger style guns. I would end up wasting more grease than I...

What’s the point of “impact” extensions in common drive sizes?

Yes and did so using a breaker bar on a 6" extension on a 140ftlb lug nut on the side of the road after a front tire blow out. Metal fatigues at stress and impact points, then cracks and breaks.

Question for DeWalt 20V cordless tool owners

Yes for the drill and driver using the 1.5a batteries. No for the big battery tools tools like pole saw, grinder and the big impacts using the 4ah +. Never run into a run time issue. I heard about batteries losing charge or trickling out, IDK if that's true but I make connections with the b...

    Noco Genius 10

On both my trucks I'm working to make the SAE connectors as accessible on the outside of the truck like the block heater plug is, right now I just clamp on their clips. I have the battery tender SAE connectors on there now anyway. If I could be an inventor for a minute, if someone could make a...

    Brake cleaner alternatives?

I keep isopropyl alcohol and denatured alcohol. I got away from acetone to prevent painted surface boo-boos too. I used denatured alcohol a lot when I was doing leatherwork and just kept it. With the above said, I still keep brake cleaner and carb cleaner for when I need to to clean brakes or...

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Cabin with a Carport

Happy New Year guys Been a little bit since I posted. Just getting stuff done and being lazy about updating my thread. Continuing fence work, been adding more tie wires to keep the fence on the posts on the north line. As much as that seems like a given, it's a time consuming, tedious task...

Well how else will I get a deer without firing a shot? I'm kidding..IM KIDDING for you game wardens out there...sheesh.. I see what you're looking at. :giggle: The fence will have a top barbed wire so room was left. They're getting reflectors too being on the street side. The north fence is...

What do you mean and who is they? :dunno: The vertical pipe posts are 10' long buried 4-5' and concreted in. How much deeper do you need them to go? They was me and my bf. Can't find good help these days. :lol_hitti There's pictures further back with using the Bobcat Toolcat to auger...

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT Cabin with a Carport

Fun update for the weekend - bought a new saw, fence is up on one front section of the property and holiday batch of tamales are in the freezer. As yall saw in my reply to Bob, I bought the M18 8" Milwalkee saw. It ended up being kind of a fast purchase. Normally I hem-haw decisions for a...

    Steep driveway tire change question.

What is the vehicle in question? I never got the nerve to lift my 7200lb truck on a steep driveway, mainly cause I'd take 3 wheels off at once to use the criss-cross method. I have borrowed Dad's flat driveway or done a swap parked on the street. I understand sometimes you're out of options...

The answer I was looking for was "learning". All those boo-boos, learning :lol_hitti But yes, it was tractor time playing with the new tool. It's got 7hrs now. I was moving some dirt out of the pond and relocating it to over the water line that runs from the house to the meter way out front...
