    Ground Kit

Some neutral/ground bar screws in my GE TM2020 200A main breaker panel are double-tapped and the box itself is pretty full. I am adding a subpanel for the garage and would like to add a ground kit to the main so the double-tapped neutrals can be rerouted. Can I add a neutral bar to the right...

    Time to install subpanel

Currently in the process of adding a 100A subpanel in my attached garage also. I'm using 1-1-1-2 AL SE for the feeder, per the inspector. 2-2-2-4 CU would also work (at 4x the cost!). Last night, I bought a 100A main lug panel, but it will be exchanged for a 100A main breaker panel. Either...

    Lowes compressor - gift card

The 60 gallon compressors are too tall for the intended location in my garage. I'd like to find a similar deal on the 30-gallon one I'm in the market for now.

Epoxy-coat over sanded Euclid Super Diamond Clear?

As I recently finished removing sealer from my garage floor to prep for epoxy, I feel your pain man. I rented a walk-behind diamond grinder, but sealer still remained in the low spots/pores. If I were to do it again, I would shot-blast. What I ended up doing was tape plastic sheeting to...

    Armorchip from armorgarage & armorclad

Initial topcoat was still tacky 2 weeks after application. Reapplied topcoat was completely dry the next day, so it's finally finished...4 weeks after starting the project!

    Armorchip from armorgarage & armorclad

Post some pics Mike. I used Armorgarage Armorchip (excellent customer service!) a few weeks ago and I'm pretty happy with the result, although I ended up having to redo my topcoat last night. Wish I too had used a respirator because the fumes are strong enough to take down an elephant.

Whats the best wat to fix concrete damage?

If I could have allowed 28 days cure time before epoxy floor coating application, the premixed latex- or mortar-based concrete patch in a bucket from HD would have been fine. Instead, I used the 2-part Rustoleum Epoxyshield Concrete Patch because only an 8-hour cure time is required. It worked...

    Topcoat question

Update - two days of heating the (attached) garage had no effect. Vendor is sending another gallon of clearcoat to be applied over the existing surface.

    Topcoat question

It's a one-component topcoat (stir it in the can and roll it out) so I wasn't expecting catalysis like the two-parters. Heat and time sounds about right anyway. I have 10000 BTUs of heat available for the 440 SF space.

    Topcoat question

My one-part solvent-based urethane topcoat is still tacky 8 days after application. Epoxy was applied the day before and it was good and dry when I topcoated. The doors and windows were kept closed for 7 days after application and outside temps ranged from a low of 38 F to a high of 74 F...

    Epoxy Needed

Finished last night. Stem walls took a long time to do but I think it was worth doing. Using spike shoes and an 18" roller made life easier. The product was divided into 4 equal (0.75 gal) batches to cover a 10'x10' section at a time. Cutting in with a brush took about 6 minutes at the start...

    Shotblasting....(rental rant)

D&B Rentals in Sterling, Virginia has a Blastrac available to rent. The single-disc Edco I rented from them did not completely remove an existing sealer. Followed-up with pressure washing and an acid etch and it's now good to go.
