How many ratchets do you own?

If it makes you feel better. I'm up to four now. Snatched up an SK 47170 3/4" drive ratchet. Guy on eBay had it listed as $50 OBO and $14.05 shipping. So I offered $35 and he took it. $49.05 to my house. It'll be here Wednesday.

It's not here yet, but I snagged an SK 47170 3/4" drive ratchet for $49.05 shipped. I feel pretty good since that's like 1/3 of what they go for. Next paycheck I'll probably pick up a socket set for it. On a side note, does anyone know the tooth count for that particular ratchet? I can't find...

Who makes a good 1 1/8" long handled combo wrenc?

Armstrong long handle 1 1/8" is what I have. 15 1/2" overall length. Great wrench, plenty of length for getting plenty of torque. Check eBay. Got mine brand new in the package for $17.50 shipped.

    3/4" ratchet question

Well for the sake of not starting a new thread, cause I'd like some input, say that you actually do need a 3/4" socket set. Would it be worth buying and possibly upgrading the ratchet later down the road or are the sockets no good? I could actually find a lot of use for this. And does it anybody...

    NCIS Shops at Harbor Freight

Yall have Yota GOVs? I've never seen anything outside the big three on any US installation. All our shop trucks are Ford gassers, all trucks we use for towing are Ford F-350 4WD SRW diesels and Chevy/GMC 3500 4WD SRW diesels. Even the little trucks we use are Dodge Dakotas.

    NCIS Shops at Harbor Freight

OutsideMachinist is right. The good ol' guddament buys the lowest priced American made tools. Used to be proto cause that's what all our old shop tools are, and all the new shop tools are Armstrong. There's a book I have at home that explains why some stuff the government buys is so expensive...

    Vintage craftsman

just inherited this from my grandfather. Old craftsman toolbox, supposedly from the 70's. Full old KAL-usa, proto, craftsman and Blackhawk tools. Black paint is from where a pissed off coworker dropped a load off a forklift on it and my granddad massaged it back into place. Anyone know any...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Don't know what it is exactly. Just know it's vintage craftsman. Granddad used it for most of his career As a inside machinist at the shipyard. The black spray paint and rust is from where a coworker got upsets granddad would loan him tools so he tried to run over with a forklift. My granddad...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Thanks for the compliment. I planned on leaving it as is because the black paint rust spots are from where my granddad has it at work and a guy got pissed my granddad wouldn't let him borrow tools, so he dropped a load off the forklift on it. My granddad massaged it all back into place and put a...
