Is anyone using this setup? I'm considering buying this for my shop...uses will be general air tools, some blasting, and eventually painting the actual car I'm working on. Will this satisfy the needs of clean air or is there a better option for equal or less money...

I just got my new compressor setup tonight and filled it with oil to the correct level. While letting the tank build up pressure, I noticed the oil has a foamy look to it through the sight glass. Is this normal? The compressor is brand new, it is the IR 5hp 80 gallon model from tractor...

I went with the infinity quick fit system from applied system tech. Can't comment yet on the function as I'm installing this weekend, however, it appears to be top notch material.

I did my 40x60 mostly by myself. Had a couple friends help with the main beams, but outside that (and wife helping hold insulation) I did it in a couple months of working afternoons and Saturday's. Not bad at all, it all just bolted together.

I checked out IR website and there is several versions of this. Which one is most appropriate to use for a home shop and where do you buy it?

Thanks for the compliments. The shop itself is a 40x60 steel building and was purchased locally (Louisiana). As for the Ford sign, it is a decal.

Finished building my tool storage/work area inside my shop. Got some great ideas on here so thought I'd share a few pics. The other room next to it is going to be an office and kitchen area. The wood used is cypress that was from an old home built in the early 1920's that was being torn down...

We put down 1/4" hardiboard over the plywood and then tiled on top of that. Never had a crack or problem in the 6 years before we moved. It was tempting to put it directly down over wood but everyone we spoke to talked us out of it.

That's the direction I am thinking as well. I'm in Louisiana so snow is not an issue.
