    I've started my garage floor...

    Not trying to hijack, but when acid-etching the floor and trying to keep it off metal surfaces, what is the safest way to do this to my floor for my metal building? The baseplate that goes all around the base of the building will definately get acid on it...is this ok?

    I need your ideas on finishing insulation

    What I did in my old metal building was screw in 1x4's to the bottom of the roof purlins and lay the bats of insulation on top of them in between the purlins. Never had any problems and worked pretty good.
