    Show your new tool arrivals

Some new stuff I picked up this week: 2 more Richard brand pry bars from Ollie's (that makes 5 singles plus the 3 piece set; I can't help myself), 2 Milwaukee brand locking pliers, and a Lisle oil pressure sensor socket. I couldn't find much for reviews on Milwaukee brand locking pliers, so I...

starting a nut or bolt in a tight place

I have a set of these kicking around somewhere: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00M2LZ4E2/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I don't use them often but when I need them they pay for themselves.

any cordless / corded tools you WISH Milwaukee would make?

The underhood work light is an awesome idea. I would love to have an under hood light that takes m12 batteries.

    Lisle tool company

My E torx set is the same way. I doubt it makes a difference to the longevity of the sockets if mine are any indication. I've beat them silly with my Snapon 3/8" impact and they've held up.

    Another Wrench Thread

One thing I regret not buying more of is impact swivel sockets. I use the 3/8" set I have almost daily for a ton of different things. I would recommend you buying at least an impact universal in all three drive sizes (IP800, IPF800D, IPM800A). I had to buy a 1/4" swivel off the truck a couple...

    Another Wrench Thread

I have a set of Northern branded full polish wrenches that I use professionally. I think they're manufactured by Danaher. I really like them, other than they don't have a flank drive style open end. If I had to buy a new set I would go with Wright. I have yet to see anything Wright makes that...

Milwaukee M12 Drill, Impact Driver, 3 Battery Kit for $99

I missed this deal the first time around so I bought it online this morning. No way I was letting this deal go. It's worth it just for the batteries if you ask me.

Milwaukee M12 Drill, Impact Driver, 3 Battery Kit for $99

Looks like they opened up the ship to home option on this again for those of you whose store doesn't have any.

    Hanging brake calipers ?

I've used 3/8" steel line to make an s hook for hanging stuff, calipers included. If you have a brake line bender and some scrap 3/8" line already it's free. I usually have some left over line around since I do brake and fuel lines pretty often. I also have a couple of those exhaust pipe hangers...

    Smoke testing exhaust for leaks

Our evap machine at work came with a cone for smoke testing exhaust systems. Worked pretty good the couple times I used it. I usually just start the car and plug the exhaust with something though, since it's a lot quicker.

Do you still use SAE much ?

I work at a new car dealer so it's almost all metric for me. Only time I use SAE is for my own projects like lawnmowers and chainsaws. Top drawer of my KRL is all metric sockets; SAE is in the bottom drawer.

    Hex --> 3/8 Socket Adapters

I've had good luck with Milwaukee impact rated adapters so far. I have yet to break any of their Shockwave bits or adapters. I've used their 3/8" to hex adapter on my MG325 with a T30 Shockwave bit and haven't broken the bit or the adapter.

Super-Exciting News for SK Day!! 9/23 and 9/24

Yes. It's completely normal. I don't drink, my stuff is already here and I already ordered more stuff from Epstein's. This is a dangerous disease they've created with SK Day! :bounce:

    Best Hand Cleaner

We use something called Concentrated Magic hand cleaner at work. Comes from NY tech supply, I'm not sure who actually manufacturers it. It's the best stuff I've ever used and my hands don't crack.

Thanks for the info! I forgot there was an SK section on the equivalents thread. Great job on that thread BTW.

Anyone have experience with SK snap ring pliers?

Hey guys, I'm looking to pick up a set of snap ring pliers. SK really has my attention after SK Day, and I'd like to buy a set from them. Looking at set 7612 or 7600. Anyone have them and like/hate them?

Tools you couldn't live without having

My 4 pound hammer is one. I'm thinking of upgrading to a Wilton unbreakable one soon. I keep breaking Kobalt ones. The other is my Lisle trim removal tool. I can get push pins out without it but it *****.
