Sub panel, feeder, underground conduit, garage wiring and electrical

You're gonna have a hell of a time pulling (3) 4/0's through that 2" conduit!! But, I think you will be able to run 200amp service in there with 4/0. My setup: Dist. from main panel to shop: 175' Conduit: 2" (3' deep) Service: 100amp, 240v Wire: 4-#3's, copper. This was a shielded, direct...

Home Depot cut & threaded iron pipe, but thread does not have taper

Thread Makeup for NPT fittings is: 1/2" NPT = 1/2" 3/4" NPT = 9/16" 1" NPT = 11/16" That doesnt look like a tapered thread to me. I would make sure you get atleast you Min. thread engagement with a good pipe dope. If you have to, mark it with a sharpee, or a piece of tape to get your bearings.

That looks like a Bannana Spider. I was driving through the woods on my 4wheeler yesterday, and drove through a few webs. Thats a terrible feeling having that web wrapped around your face, and not knowing where that spider is! Bad thing is when you think you have it all off, and then 5...

    Slab "placement" tomorrow @7am

Cool. I have learned so much about concrete on this website. I had my slab poured for my pole barn last year, and there are so many things I would do different. I didnt put beams in because l believe that all my weight is on my poles. But I wish I would have dug down a little on the sides to...
