    Service truck wrench upgrade

I know some guys who do large generator repair and service. They're fairly rough on their stuff and generally use Snap On, but I noticed a while back that most of their new stuff has been Icon and they haven't complained and kept on buy it.

Best 1/4" magnetic bit holder and screw guide

I use a regular scratch awl. I've thought about filing an old screwdriver down into a birdcage awl, but I just never got around to it. I tried a spring loaded center punch and it didn't work that well for me. I think the issue was too blunt of a tip. A soft smack from a light deadblow...

Best 1/4" magnetic bit holder and screw guide

I just use my awl to make a small but deep indention. Usually a firm press and twist back at forth at each screw location is enough to aid greatly in getting the screw started and makes it easier to get it centered. Pliers for auto electrical connectors?

You ain't lying. When I had to replace the speed sensor on the wife's Dodge Caliber it took longer just to disconnect the old one under the hood than it did all other operations combined.

Suggestions on 18" Flex head 3/8 drive

Personally I'd get any of the decent Taiwan made ratchets, Capri for example, around 12 inches in 3/8 and also grab one of the cheap 25 inch breaker bars from Harbor Freight. Heck, you can get the Capri 12 inch flex 3/8, Capri 18 inch flex 1/2, and the Harbor Freight 25 inch breaker for $100...

    2023 Lowe's deals/sales/clearance thread

This^^^ It's also good to be a little leery of reviews given as a promotion where the reviewer got the item for free in exchange for reviewing it. Some companies have such a short time constraint that the reviewer can't test it out properly.

I broke down and got one of the 18 inch 1/2 flex head ratchets this morning. It being only 48 teeth is what kept me at bay.

    Titanium Hammers

No to knit pick, but I think it's Mass X Velocity squared, so the speed has an even larger effect than you alluded. It's a Kinetic energy vs momentum thing.
