I came across a thread here discussing socket manufacturers in which one user claimed that Gearwrench sockets are sintered, not forged. Another user asked for that guy's source... which was never posted. I contacted Gearwrench and asked if their sockets are forged or sintered and it turns out...

The motor has start capacitor. I could do this myself but the label's missing from the motor. Right now, it's wired to start when you plug it into an outlet. Inside the junction box, the black wire(power?) from the cord is connected via wire nut to three wires that go into the motor... one red...

I have an old Craftsman 1/4 ratchet with an oil port on the head. How do I get oil in there and what kind of oil should I use? I've opened it up and it's clean but bone dry.

I recently bought a Sawmaster power hacksaw and the thing has 8 oil cups! The manual says to use an "oil containing an adhesive" for the slide bar cup. What would be a good choice? Chainsaw bar oil? Maybe motorcycle chain oil?
