Just filled my 100# tank and it leaks. Am I screwed?

He's just telling ya to be safe:beer: Propane is nothing to mess with, and I think it's also BS that they can't pull it out. Best of luck man!

epoxy-no drain, no slope, and snow

I am in the same boat. Just did the floor last October and the wife's explorer holds alot of snow/ice above the running boards and rear bumper. Once a week or every few days I would squeege the floor and try to rinse it out. The salt/dirt had no affect on the epoxy, but I would just get tired...

Grinding not going well - advice needed (possibly urgent!)

I had the same issue. Those are low lying areas. As you said, you have the following options: 1.) Use hand grinder and just touch up those areas. 2.) Use big electric grinder and continue to grind down until it's all the same level Do you plan on doing an acid etch after the grinding? By...

Not sure what to do about vapor barrier on inside wall?

I would think because you have all exterior walls insulated and VB there, you wouldn't need the interior wall to have one.

Best Storage Investment for under $500

Just picked up 8 upper kitchen cabinets for free. Gonna add a nice top to each (for storage) and give them a quick shot of paint. Just look around and you'll be able to find plenty of things for under $500.

Pleae help me avoid making a mistake on my new 40x40 conrete slab.

No worries bud, we'll take care of ya:beer: I too grew up in the woods and on the water, and felt the same way with this project. When you're done, you'll look back and laugh at how easy it was and how great it looks. Worst thing to worry about in your process (which I didn't have to) is making...

    Flake Sizes

I would recommend the 1/4", looks the best IMHO.

Pleae help me avoid making a mistake on my new 40x40 conrete slab.

If you're planning on putting epoxy down, here's what I recommend. 1. No sealer, you'll have to remove it when applying epoxy, so why bother. 2. Get building up and try to reduce the amount of air blowing around on slab (i.e no major drafts that can blow in dirt). So this means windows in...

Taskforce Air hose reel $23.99 Lowes

I understand what you're saying here, but yes it is worth the $25 I paid, in the hose alone. When it did work properly, it worked great. I would not drive a great distance to get one, but they are surely worth the $25 I paid for them. If it wasn't for this thread I would still be using my cheap...

Taskforce Air hose reel $23.99 Lowes

I tried "rewinding" the spring w/o disassembling, but the way the spring is messed up, it didn't work. I'm thinking the spring is a coil-spring like a pullstart and one of the bands have become out of place.

Taskforce Air hose reel $23.99 Lowes

No, I'll hold onto it and maybe tear into it and fix the spring. Either way the all rubber hose is worth $25 to me, so if you have a chance to get one I would:beer:

Taskforce Air hose reel $23.99 Lowes

Picked up my 2nd one today, but the first one is close to being out of comission already. After using it all weekend, it will only reel in about 3/4 of the hose. It seems like the spring has come uncoiled or misaligned and doesn't want to reel anymore in.

Can I grind a floor with a 4.5 inch angle grinder?

No problem, but I will advise you to go the epoxy route over a paint. As I said I used epoxy-coat products and it is holding up great. I just did two complete brake jobs on the Explorer and Duramax and it only suffered a few scratches. These are barely visible (mainly from jack/jackstands/metal...

Can I grind a floor with a 4.5 inch angle grinder?

I completely understand the situation you're in. I was ready to get it done, but wanted to make sure I had all possible information before starting. I have never ground concrete before and wasn't really sure what to expect. With that being said, I wasn't sure how much the 7" or larger commercial...

Can I grind a floor with a 4.5 inch angle grinder?

Please reread my OP:lol_hitti 1.) Never said it was impossible. What one deems retarded maybe the only option for others. It was not my only option, but it was an option I felt more comfortable with in both cost and process. The OP was in regards to using this option, so the question was...

Can I grind a floor with a 4.5 inch angle grinder?

Local rentals for a 7" standup model grinder was $110/day....i ended up just buying a 4.5" diamond grinder and have used it on other projects already. I did try wetting the floor when I first started, but you'll find that the slurry is just a pain. As the moisture is trapped in the continuous...

Can I grind a floor with a 4.5 inch angle grinder?

Sure you can....I don't see what the big deal is. Here's a link showing what I did with my 4.5" grinder. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23761&highlight=epoxy-coat I searched around the area, but wasn't about to pay what they wanted to rent a grinder for the day. My garage...
