    Mr. Heater Propane Tank-Top Heaters

You'll be fine, just get a CO monitor and/or keep the door/window cracked a bit.

    Epoxy-Coat install complete

I agree with Jeff, get the two kits. I only did a two car garage (19x19) from the insides of the block footer and I wish I would have had a tad bit more. This was my first install, it went well, it's a great product and has held up great so far:thumbup: Don't be afraid of the drying time. I...

    Epoxy-Coat install complete

Looks good man:beer: Did you use any alum oxide? It's definitely one thing I would not use on my next install, would just have to be careful when it's wet.

    Garage attic insulation

Gotcha, thanks for the info. The main source of moisture will be from the snow on the vehicles during the winter, and the ventless heater I am currently using. I do keep the door cracked to help reduce the moisture when in the garage, and plan to move to a vented heater hopefully by next winter.

    Garage attic insulation

Well after reading some more, I found my answer. The VB needs to go on the heated side, so that means I will lay that down first over the trusses and sheetrock. Do you just lay it in, nice and snug or staple it? I'm thinking staples are adding holes which is lessoning the effectiveness of the VB.

    Garage attic insulation

Got to bring this back up, b/c I still don't understand where the vapor barrier has to go:lol_hitti The garage is already finished, just not insulated. The 5/8" sheetrock is screwed directly into the trusses, and I will be doing blown-in insulation. Where do I put the vapor barrier if the...

    Stone driveway...need some input

Welcome to the board Jim. It's good to see more guys from Ohio on here. The drive already has a good base to it, so I will be just top dressing it with some new stone. I'm not sure what's beneith the top soil in the around the area, but I have quit a bit of rock from where I've dug some things...

    Stone driveway...need some input

Utilites would be the power that runs along side of the drive from the pole by the road (thats a tree behind silver chevy). Also would be water, phone, and cable, but I just don't want mess with the power conduit at all. Whatever route we choose to go, I will definitely get the utility companies...

2nd Coat Advice (ASAP Please)? Sanding?

Glad to hear it came out well for you. I too am very pleased with the epoxy-coat kit. I don't know if I would use the alum. oxide on the next floor I do. I know it will be quite slippery when wet but they are kinda a pain now. They break up that nice shiny, gloss finish it has after cured, and...

    Stone driveway...need some input

Yep, there's going to be a big hairy mess on the right hand side if I go any decent depth with roots/utilite lines. With the method you described, the 4 or 6 pipe that crosses the driveway will be exposed on the left side correct? I am looking to not have any pipes showing, so I think it would...

    Stone driveway...need some input

OK guys, keep the opinions coming! JD I'm in north central Ohio. I too agree that the natural stone would look better. I have to decide if I want a semipermanent edge to the drive or not. I think it would definitely take away from the "natural" look of the home, but I also want to have a...

    Stone driveway...need some input

JD, good advice. Which side would you recommend the french drain? On the right side of the drive? I can't go too deep there as the utilites run that side of the driveway. I'm starting to think about putting pavors along the left side of the drive, and then carrying them into the edge of the...

    Epoxy Cleaning help

I just cleaned my Epoxy-coat floor for the first time in 3 months. I would occasionally squirt it off to keep the amount of dirt and salt down, but there were much tougher areas that wouldn't come clean. Up here in Ohio, they use salt, gravel, and beet juice so my floor was pretty well messed...

    Stone driveway...need some input

Krusty, did you have a chance to check out the picture, maybe the link doesn't work? I might not have explained it enough, but looking at the picture (as if you're the picture taker), the water will run from right to left. From the wood line across the driveway into the yard on the left. On the...

OK guys, this warm snap has me looking foward to spring and I want to get everything in line to revamp/face lift our 5yr old stone driveway. Here's a picture of what I'm dealing with: When looking at the picture, I have water running down the right hand side of the home (low area where lot...
