Kevin, Most poles are 8ft apart. I'm wondering if I even need to insulate? I'm trying not to dump too much money into it. I'll see if I can post a pic or 2.

I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out what to do. I have a Pole barn with metal roof and sides.........its more for storage than anything but will try to work out there on the weekends if I can get the time. Can I get away with just some 7/16" OSB between the poles?

Got a pole building........was thinking 1 1/2" foam board between the girts and 7/16" OSB over that between the poles. Does that sound good??

Did they double because of the pole barn?? I haven't closed on my permet because I still need a floor. Got a letter saying it will be $300 a year more for taxes. I call and they said it still $300 if I have the floor or not!?!? For some reason that doesn't sound right to me.

OK, I looked it up........its a expansion strip. Do most put that around the outside edge in a pole barn or do most just add the concrete?

I've been pretty slow adding the floor to my pole barn due to $$ etc. but the town wants the final inspection. Do most people add a strip(not sure what its called?) around the inside? I had one guy come over and he said thats what he'd do. I was just going to put 2" coduit for the service box...

Thanks..... For now, I'm just putting stone down inside and need to add fill on the outside and pitch it away from the building. I do want to add wiring and insulation but need to save my pennies. LOL I'm just happy it finally up! Heres a shot of the inside:

My neighbors mower took a **** so after bugging him a few weeks to borrow mine he does but havent seen it in a month! Good thing its my extra beater! My bro took my chipper and busted the belt & clutch feel apart.......not even sure I can get parts for that?!

The inspection was a joke. Guy came out, looked up under the overhead door area and passed it. LOL
