Texas Garage: Yeah It's Finally My Turn!!!!!

Sure do! I see that Aledo concrete truck around town quite a bit. Good to see them pumping concrete a long way. I was concerned they would not be able to get back to where my slab will go.

Texas Garage: Yeah It's Finally My Turn!!!!!

Awesome. They are going to be doing mine as well. I have seen several of their buildings...they do good work. I am in the stage of clearing trees, then I'll be working on sprinklers and such...then they can get to work doing their thing.

Awesome. Who is your contractor? I am in Aledo and about to start my own 24X30. Will be removing trees next week. I found a guy out of Burleson that is good on price and has built 3 friend's garages.

Oh...and my truck has Toff spray bedliner. I have been very happy with it. The GM CEO, Ed Whitacre, was chosen due to his amazing leadership skills with ATT bringing them into the internet age. Along with his engineering degree from Texas Tech University and being an all around great guy, he...

Tell me how much my new truck *****

I have an 09 GMC Z71 Crew. 30K miles so far and no issues at all. I bought it to replace my 01 1/2 Ton Ext Cab that had 160K on it. It was still running like a top. The 5.3L is in both these trucks. My 09 has the 6 speed. It gets good mileage...18-19 mpg combined driving. It took some...

no water source in garage: ideas?

Can you explain field tile? Is this a septic type design with a perforated pipe and no catch basin? Of course, you wouldn't want to dump chemicals, but gray water would be fine.

    A new Texan

I found out this weekend that my neighbor's 50 HP John Deere isn't strong enough to pull out an 8" Cedar Elm. :D I have about 5 of them that need to go. Guess I'll have to start digging around the roots and try again later.

Brick facade to a metal building?

Thanks. I figured it would need weep holes and an air gap. I am pretty dang sure the contractor would know what to do...he's built alot of buildings in this area. I will contract the brick separately...we've got lots of bricklayers around here.

Brick facade to a metal building?

Greetings. I am about to start a build of a 24 X 30 metal building in Texas. I am in the good situation of the previous owner leaving me 4 1/2 cubes of brick that matches the house. So that means...I've got to use it! Besides having a brick ledger poured with the foundation, what...
