    Dayton G73 Electric Heater

I think it may still do well with a curtain. The fact that you can swing the unit and aim the veins help to keep the heat on you. A ceiling fan on low may help to keep the heat lower to the floor.

    Dayton G73 Electric Heater

I just got mine last week from Air and Water for $269 delivered! This thing went up very easily and works fantastic. It is quite and does a great job on my 400+ sqft. I mounted it from the ceiling on 1 lag bolt so I could turn it just right, and used armoured flex line for the power. Moved a few...

After 100's of questions my makeover begins

Here are a few more....the 2008 calender "The Body Shop", I also put some of those inexpensive mats from HD under each wheel for both dirt and to prevent discolouration. Due to how narrow the garage is, I need to move the pump from the outside of the post, so I altered some heavy duty hinges so...

Re: Scary, Unsetteling scenerio Jeff...That was very well described, and I at least appreciate the fact that you spoke about the industry and lifts in general and not just Bend-Pak this and Bend Pak that...BTW, for your 4 post lifts, what do you recommend for cable and other moving areas for...

    Projection monitor for garage wall?

I was thinking about taking my old Sony 3 tube projector from my media room when I upgrade, and place it in the garage. I would use for both watching tv and using the computer. It's a great idea.

Torque Wrench needed 350ftlbs min and bi-directional

I had the chance to use the wrench this weekend and the set-up is sooooo much better than beating the **** out of a spanner with a lead hammer. The only issue was when I had to put the socket on, I had to push in with an awl one of the spring loaded pins on the ratchet (one is a ball one is a...

VCT tile now done. Looks great!

I just put sealer and wax down on the floor and it looks great. Does not seem slippery, but has a great shine. I did use a sealer first to help prevent staining. I did go with the ZEP products ( http://www.zepcommercial.com/pages/catalogpages/floor.html ) (Sealer and Wet Look Polish)

From the Snap-On manual... "Preload click-type torque wrenches prior to use or when direction is changed. To pre-load, set the wrench at 50% of full scale and operate the wrench at least three times in the direction of use on a fastener/fixture capable of safely withstanding the pre-load...

    Best cordless drill?

I had a great craftsman but when the battery went, the replacement was more than a good replacement drill. I went out and bought a DeWalt and have been very happy with it. Great quality and performance.

    Whole home surge protection

I am having my panel and service upgraded to 200amps, and while I am getting a new panel I was thinking of whole house surge protection. I had heard about these devices that are mounted in the box at the feed, and covers the entire house. Any comments on these. They are not very expensive ($100)...
