Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

Here's another one from Norcal. Sonoma, CA Duro 15" Bandsaw - $150 https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/tls/d/bandsaw/6438803797.html I would be all over this if it were closer, not currently at work, and I also already have a taiwanese delta clone and a walker turner both setup for wood...

Anybody here like or have a 8" Craftsman tilting table TS?

It would only help on the bottom piece. The top piece would be pulled by gravity into the blade once you got far enough into the cut. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk

    S&K box

Yeah I've been watching this guy for at least a year. He's gotta be an estate liquidator or a power flipper. His prices are usually too high for me and it weirds me out that he literally posts different items in like 10 different locations. I've seen him post vintage craftsman for good prices...

    S&K box

Must be a local. Nice to meet you! That thing's been up for months now. I wouldn't pay the $35 they want for it myself...It's got a lot of damage in the other pics. It looks like it's all relatively easily fixable but still... I would be curious though if you went and looked at it what else...

Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

I think the two front grinders (specifically the first craftsman) would be a decent deal at $70ea. I'm not sure what brand the one in the middle is though. $70 is WAY better than anything you'll find for sale on ebay for the 1/2hp craftsman. In fact, you could probably make money on Ebay. Pass...

AND even more from the Bay Area. Santa Rosa, CA Crowntop Craftsman Toolboxes - $25 https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/tls/d/big-old-craftsman-roll-away/6429915393.html

Pretty good deal in our area. Only way to beat it would be a garage sale. San Mateo, CA Craftsman 1/2hp 6" Grinder - $50 https://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/tls/d/craftsman-commercial-bench/6429097913.html

    2017 Garage Sale Thread

I've been lucky and all my 5? I think small machinists chest have the fronts on them. However, I did see this searching ebay. I thought it looked pretty good. I wouldn't have put the craftsman sticker on there though.

    CM 1930w 6" Jointer Question

I haven't changed mine either since I set it up. However, it is nice. I'm trying to think about this. I need to take a look at how mine is mounted when I get home. ALLFAST, if you're close by you could come over and could compare a delta to a craftsman.

    Bench grinder....course vs fine wheel

I agree. I have 3 bench grinders with stones in them and they just sit on the floor typically unplugged. Anything that actually needs to be ground I just use one of my sanders. You have way more surface area to work with also. The grinder I actually do use all the time only has a wire wheel...

Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

Not tool related really. I could see myself putting tools in there though. Alternatively, you could probably market it better if you wanted to resell it to a hipster. Gilroy, CA Set of drawers - $100 https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/atq/d/national-cash-register-ncr/6414914454.html EDIT...

Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

Yea, when I saw the post I figured it was at least a 16"er. From the pictures it looks way way bigger than my 14" (Delta Clone *sigh*). Mine works great though and the drive would be way too far for me to pick it up. Fremont, CA 1hp Air Compressor - FREE...

Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

Not the deal of the century here but a working vintage bandsaw for $40 and an industrial sized one for $200. If I were closer I'd probably have another couple of bandsaws lol Oakland, CA Darra James 10"? 12"? Bandsaw - $40...

Tool Cases - Throw them away? What else?

I have the same issue. Mine are all empty and just take up space in the garage. I do see them for sale on Craigslist sometimes but am not sure if they get sold or not. They do however appear to sell on Ebay. Here's an example for dewalts. They seem to sell for $4-30 used...

Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

Unfortunately, I have no money in the tool budget or the need for a smaller vise currently. If it was huge and cheap(ish) I'd be selling my organs as we speak. Menlo Park is also almost directly between us. I believe that with the Friday commute you might even make better time than I would.:p

So I shouldn't have painted it brown and gold? Damn... Sounds similar to my situation... And proof that we're pretty flooded here... https://sacramento.craigslist.org/tls/d/vintage-dunlap-ignition-set/6387969916.html...

Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

The free deal shiftless posted that neither of us went to check out is definitely an anomaly. However, I'm sure our market is similar to the East Coast. I think it's the guys in between that are the most screwed for deals. I just found this one funny. Santa Cruz, CA Rigid Table Saw - Cost is...

Craftsman motor 115. 5831 need help!

Hmmm I'm hoping you have a volt ohm meter? It would definitely help because then you could get the basic schematic drawn and use that as a reference. Having said that here's something that might help...

Yeah it ***** too because I have been on a purchasing freeze currently but I've been seeing old dunlap a lot recently. I have been eyeballing a $20 dunlap 3 1/2" vise for quite some time but really don't need any more small vises. Are you in the Bay Area? You might get more joy out of it than I...
