    Generator Gas Tank Rust

Another vinegar vote here. Very rusted motorcycle tank, filled as high as possible with 6% vinegar. Regular vinegar strength vinegar is 5%, some stores have both. Rotate the tank daily until rust is gone. Does take a while, but it worked well for me. When done, I washed it out with hot water and...

HF Welding Helmets - Yay or Nay?

Had a HF economy helmet which worked for me welding small projects once in a while. When the battery failed, I found out it was not replaceable. Where ever you buy a hood, make sure you can replace parts and that they are available when needed.

Quick disconnect Battery terminals and replacing OEM terminal wires?

Be wary of brass colored cheap battery terminals. They ain't brass. A moderately serviced lead terminal lasts longer and transmits power with very little fuss. The real time **** is the hold down clamps or blocks or straps.

AlOx is a good choice and comes in various particle/screen sizes. Choose size based on orfice, nozzle and PSI being used. It will also wear out your nozzle and gun.

Thin wall vinyl tubing - Is there such a thing?

Try "winding sleeve" on the Google. Lots of things come up that might help. I was thinking of the polyethylene tubes that sheet material is rolled up on. Good luck.

    Waste oil storage/tank

How about a 30 gallon steel drum? Stable and about the same footprint as a compressor tank. Could weigh about 250 lbs. when full. Available with a removable lid or welded.

    Murphy bed Project

We purchased the hardware kit from Rockler. The matress we chose was a standard mattress, more spring than foam and with the springy slats in the kit, is comfy. Memory foam mattresses can tend to slump or settle when stored vertically.

Multitools - what say you? Aye or Nay?

Back in the day, l carried a Leathman Crunch and used it often until it was lost being used as a shift lever for a motorcycle. My EDC is a Gerber pocket knife and a Oliigjt flashlight. Seems a lot of multi tools are in the "better than nothing" category until you find the right one.
