It was something about the drawer pulls in relation to the drawer fronts.

Yes. If you call up Snap On they will probably just send you a new one. If you don't have a dealer, and are able to find one he would be able to replace the shank most likely, allowing you to keep the handle since you say it is your favorite. But if it really doesn't matter I would just call up...
