    Tools for u-joints

They make specific sockets for these, they are a 12mm 12pt 1/2" drive impact swivel but they have a short (3") extension built in to clear the yoke. They are worth it if you ever plan on doing it again. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Good Tool Kit for the Road

This would be the winner for me. Add in a set of pliers and a real screwdriver set rather than the bits and it would cover just about anything you might need for basic stuff or side of the road emergencies. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

    GM lock ring tool

That tool is a waste of time, the metal tangs get bent and 99% of the time it won't clear hoses, wiring or sensors. The correct tool is a brass punch and hammer Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

So my close call with oil filter failure..

I had one come thru the shop like that and it was also a k&n. There were some issues with them at one time and can't remember what exactly happened with them but we changed the oil with a wix and problem solved. I couldn't tell where the old one was leaking either. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

    Chrome VS Impact sockets

As a full time tech I use impacts 99.9% of the time I have keep my 3/8 and 1/2 chrome sockets in a bottom drawer and they only come out once every couple a months when space is a real concern. If I had to start over I would probly get the grey pneumatic duo sockets. Sent from my Pixel using...

Not familiar at all with that brand so can't help ya there If they don't see the need for a scope they have no business running a shop If your looking for a cheap scope take a look at the u-scope on AES wave. It's just a single channel but it does work very well and is better than nothing or...

    Milwaukee Took Chest vs Snap-On

Snap on makes a top of the line box, no question there. But the real question is do you actually NEED that kind of box? I decided I didn't and bought from strictly toolboxes.com. And got a 72" roll cab, hutch and locker shipped to my door for well below your budget and the quality is much...

    Milwaukee grips gripes?

In one of AVE's reviews he had stated that due to the material they used on the grips this very thing was likely. I use all of mine in an automotive setting and haven't had an issue. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
