    serpentine belt tool

There are a few out there like 24v 5.9's and 6.7's that are almost impossible to do without a belt tool. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

    Let’s talk flashlights.

The one in my box is a pelican I got as a gift about 4 years ago, damn good light. My "bump in the night" flashlight is a streamlight attached to a Glock 9mm [emoji16] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

When to walk away from cordless brand.

I sold my SO cordless stuff a couple years ago and went with Milwaukee. The up side is that the snap on stuff still has value and if it were me I would sell them and move into something different. You probly have $300 -$400 on the used market, enough to get a good start on any non truck brand...

What type of Torque Wrench do you prefer?

The fact that they keep count seems silly until you use them for anything with a pattern such as head bolts. The battery usage is minimal for me, I use mine weekly and only change batteries a couple times a year. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

What type of Torque Wrench do you prefer?

I have a clicker in 1/2" just for lug nuts hand such and digital 1/2" & 3/8" tech angles for everything else. The 1/2" digital is nice since it goes up to 300lb/ft Sent from my LGUK932 using Tapatalk

    ? For the tool collectors.

I use an app called Google keep that syncs between my phone, tablet, laptop etc. Every time I'm at the getting spot or an auction I always know what I need to complete a set or replace broken or keep an eye out for a good deal Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

    Electrical diagnostics tools?

As many have said before knowledge is a must. A GOOD multimeter with a GOOD set of leads will tackle most any electrical issue. Everything else just makes it easier and faster. Google "voltage drop testing" and learn how to use it. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

What type of wrenches do you use the most?

Best I can say is you will have a need for both but start with the standard long pattern combos and add on from there Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

1/2 drive cordless impact driver recommendations?

While I also recommend the Milwaukee, I would look at what other tools the company offered with the same platform. That's what sold me on the Milwaukee over others is the many other tools that use the same battery. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Any reviews of Harbor Freight's stubby impact wrench?

Can't give you any help with the HF unit but I can say you won't be disappointed with the Astro nano. I got the 3/8 and 1/2 and I'm always surprised by the power of the tiny little buggers! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

How do you store your bungee cords?

My trucker buddy uses a couple different lengths of PVC pipe long enough to you can hook them on the top and bottom. Keeps them nice a neat on the truck. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Need Help in Selecting a 2 - 3 Ton Engine Hoist

I did the same thing and swapped out all the caster for GOOD quality SWIVEL casters and it's been the best cherry picker I've ever used and it can all be done well under your $500 budget Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

    Topside creepers

They are worth their weight in gold on full size trucks. I have the newer topside brand one and I like it other than when working on trucks with aftermarket bumpers or brush gaurds the pad isn't long enough and you tend to put all your weight on your gut. I made a simple extension for mine using...

Preferred "tool" to clean gasket mating surfaces?

As stated before, the super scraper works awesome. Also, if your going g to use a razor blade, try holding it at nearly a 90 degree angle to the surface and drag it. It will tear up the blades a bit faster but no risk of gouging the material. I have used this method hundreds of time on aluminum...

Need tilt-assist device for tilt trailer

As far back as that axle is I could see some issues with the deck dropping before the rear axles of whatever your loading got on the trailer. Personally I have used the tilt trailers that use the long ram like an engine hoist uses and they work faster than you think they would and you can...

    New Snap-on 36" breaker bar 1/2 drive

Sometimes you can't get an impact in there. Other times your working on a bolt that's seized in a rubber bushing so an impact just rattles back and forth rather than spinning it so you have to break out the big breaker bar Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Cv boot installer pneumatic or manual?

I guess I don't really get the point of one of these for the average home gamer. I have always separated the joint and installed the boot. Am I missing something here? Do the axles not come apart like most do? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
