    Radio Removal Tools

I also have an '02 Ranger. The origional radio bolts in. You need to remove the bezel around the radio/ heating/ cooling cluster. See the 2 screws below the radio. Two hidden clips towards the top, gently pull outwards at the bottom after removing the screws.

How many of you have a pee funnel in your garage?

Maybe one of you could by this on Craigslist, or just spring for the full $40 retail price. I'm childless and had no idea this stuff existed. I have other options when the urge comes upon me.

Phil, Thanks for the toolbox and delivery. Sorry for the extra exercise getting to the garage. It was nice meeting you. Wayne

    Bondhus, good stuff?

I have a few sets of the ultra gold l-keys. They fit a little snugger because of the coating. Thats usually a good thing, although on damaged bolts they occasionally don't fit, but the black oxides will. They are easier to keep clean, but the real reason I like them is they're more visible if...

Mounting a 150lb cabinet on the wall

I did that for my kitchen cabinets 15 years ago. I made mine out of metal, though. I also made a hugh french cleat to hang a soap box derby car high up on a wall at work. They do make a commercially available style in aluminum.

    mastercraft tools

I got a bunch of Mastercraft sockets that were in with some other tools I got on ebay. I must say they appear to be decent quality, but I've never used them. In fact, they're still sitting where I left them after cleaning and sorting them for possible reselling or my own use. I don't have any...

    Don't Crimp My Style!

Yes, nice pictures. Today is the first I've seen this thread. The problem I have is the crimps on the open barrel connectors were done incorrectly. If that was a 14-16 connector it should have been crimped in the "C" cavity and the insulation crimp would be done in the "A" cavity. Nothing needs...

    Air tight bungs and caps

Or maybe just get a 2" bung plug from a 55 gallon steel drum. Or buy one from McMaster-Carr. Just don't get a vented one.

Is this adapter useful enough for $18.50?

From looking at the usage pics, someone could remove the 3 three screws from the cover and save over $54 on tools. It seems like a silly idea to me. If I were to buy those, it would have to be online. With an assumed name and shipped to the vacant lot up the street. I'd be too embarrassed to...

    pole barn roof truss spacing

Where is length of post mentioned? Spacing is mentioned. O/C = on center. 4 x 6 Treated Eave Posts (8' O/C) 4 x 6 Treated Gable Posts (10' O/C) 4/12 pitch on a roof is pretty common and shouldn't be a problem.

    24X28 Gambrel Roof Garage

I'm 60-80 miles west of you in Cumberland. Looks like lots of new construction happening around your place. Hard to believe flat land in MD being undeveloped. If I could build something on level ground, I don't think i'd know how to act. I see from your profile we had/have similar jobs. I work...

Need Advice: Got a local quote for 30x40X16

In the fall of '07 I built a Strat-O-Span 36 x 60 x 14 (which can be seen by clicking the link below) The base price, if I remember correctly was about $14500. We added $600-700 in upgrades. That size now starts at $15,198. Equipment rentals and concrete added $2000 or more. The actual numbers...

    broken table leg

Use the gorilla glue but also use at least 2 drywall screws to secure it. Countersunk and predrilled. Just make sure you know where they'll end up or you may have an exposed screw. The length of the screw depends on the size that is broken off.

    Toolsforless.com?

I've never bought from them or seen their website until a few minutes ago. I doubt if I would ever buy from them based solely on the wording of the items description. Every item started with "Brand New". Reminds me of eBays sellers putting L@@K in the titles. Those are what I don't look at.

Why won't the wire wheel fit on my angle grinder?

Is the backing plate still on it or did you take it off. I usually will leave it in place (so as not to lose it) even though the locknut isn't going to be used.

Why won't the wire wheel fit on my angle grinder?

Is the nut towards the grinder or is it facing out?
