    SWAG shop press brake

So I was looking for the capability to bend bar stock and the like in my garage. Looking around I found a brake for my press at Northern but it was $330. Seemed a little expensive. Looking around some more I was able to find a kit, all the pieces, unassembled for $140(shipping included). This...

    Used SnapOn tool box advise

The best advice I could give you is to figure out what you want( rough size, functions, drawer layout), how much you want to spend, then start looking (craiglist, ebay, local magazine type advertisers, etc) and BE PATIENT. It took me years but I put together this three piece snap on set, never...

    Tool truck "convenience"

So, I've read through most all this thread and as many have said, this thread really has turned into the same old tool truck/ box store, ford/ chevy, harley/honda debate. The tool truck guys get beat up pretty bad and I've seen some mention by plant guys of places like Grainger, well they really...

    The RoboReel Again...

Just to jump on the bandwagon. I also saw the original post and had checked it out. I thought it was a cool idea but, as many had said before me, it was cost prohibitive. I think $150-200 would be a more palatable price point. I would mind having one but I can't justify it. At the end of the day...

A year + search has paid off finally

I feel your pain on the wait. It took me 8 years or so and alot of driving to put together a 761/791/712 set. Mine is in standard Snap On Red. The wait was worth it though as I never could have afforded to by that whole setup new.
