    Knipex in Home Depot

I was in Home Depot today and surprised to see Knipex pliers in the store. Has anyone else seen Knipex at your local HD? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

    Small Service Cart/Tray

What is the official name for that "thing"? For searching purposes of course :D. And where can one acquire such a thing?

    Small Service Cart/Tray

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I might need to start cruising on Craigslist as well as going to HF to have a second look at the cart. The IKEA car seems pretty handy.

Headlight Restoration Kits-Whats The Best One?

I did that to mine and it has been fine so far. I see that the Sylvania kit includes a sealer. Does anyone know how well that sealer works compared to an actual clear coat?

    Small Service Cart/Tray

Hi guys, I'm searching for a small service cart that I can place by the car I'm working on. After tools falling down scratching the car or falling into the engine bay, I need to stop putting tools around the engine bay. My box sits in the corner, so I'd like to not have to walk back and forth...

I think I'm gonna buy a Tekton chrome socket set..

I also have no problem getting warranty from HF. Also, if you're in their database (to receive couponas), they email you the receipt after you tell them your phone number. I've been starting to buy more Tekton tools, because I know they will warranty or take care of whtever issue I will have...

Bought a HF 72" rolling tool cab

Wow, that green and black color scheme looks awesome. Great job! I've never seen that shade of green before. I was very close to buying a HF 44, but the red color was kinda a deal breaker. It seems like they're selling those boxes pretty well, why can't they start offering some other basic...

Harry J. Epstein NOS Craftsman & Westcraft Wrenches In Stock

I recently tried to warranty a discontinued item from Sears. They simply said they don't have that anymore, and offer a gift card for the amount of a similar item. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

    Irwin extractor set

That seems like a pretty nice set for that price. I noticed it says "Multi Spline," and my set says "Spiral." Is there a difference? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

    Irwin extractor set

True. I don't know what the hell I was thinking, using a flex long handle 3/8 ratchet on a 10mm bolt valve cover bolt with full force. I think the hardest part about using extractors is how to drilling a perfectly straight, correctly sized, and centered hole into the stud. Sent from my HTC...

    Good Car Ramps

I've had the Rhino ramp set for years. And have been using it for every oil change (except for the Honda Odyssey, its oil change can be done with the car on the ground) It has been pretty solid, until recently the rubber feet are worn and heavier sedans will make the ramps slip forward while...

    Sears Presidents sale

Another thing about Sears not matching their own online prices is their in store prices are usually some crazy number, many times double the only prices. If you're a frequent tool buyer, you look around online and can kinda see how much everyone else is selling a particular item for. I kinda...

    Show your new tool arrivals

    Rockauto sells tools

That can be said for their parts as well. I've started buying Wix USA filters from them, and when I buy 3 or 4 for all the cars in the family, plus shipping it still comes out cheaper than the local part stores. I've been their customer for years, but still didn't know about them selling tools...

    Irwin extractor set

So I was doing a valve adjustment on our Honda J series engine, and while putting everything back, idiot me used too long of a ratchet for that 10mm (M6) bolt and snapped it off. Most of the threaded portion was in the hole. Today I had to go buy a screw extractor set and an M6 tap. Lowe's was...

    Craftsman screwdrivers/phillips?

The new Tekton Made in USA screwdrivers seem pretty interesting and were actively discussed here not too long ago. I'm gonna get myself a set when their next promotion comes. Personally I kinda like the feel of Channellock 6 in 1 screwdriver's fat handle. Wonder if there're any other handles...

Some of my Carlyle (NAPA) tools

Those Carlyle tools look pretty solid. My local NAPA has display tools behind the counter. Are they all like that, or just mine? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

    Oil Filter Wrench

That's what I did, got mine from Pepboys, and it was working fine for 2 years. Now it's just slipping. It probably can be repaired, but I'm gonna try the Channellock this time to see if it's better because of the different arc design (as mentioned earlier).

Opinions on air lift tool for cooling system?

That's the reason why I got my Airlift. However there're a couple things I'm not sure about the usage. Do we need to prime the line when filling? I used it on my BMW recently. It was able to achieve 20 psi of vacuum (green zone on gauge), but will very slowly drop below that after a minute. The...
