So I took the set to Sears today, and the socket is not available separately at all, so they exchanged another set for me. We opened two other sets, and all the E sockets look like the one I thought was defective. So I finally decided to go with the new set with all the sockets looking alike.

I have both of those HF ratchets and have been quite happy with them. Use them on every thing when I don't use my flex heads or low profiles. Another thing I like about them is that after you undo the bolt, you can shorten them to ratchet more quickly.
