Not a pain at all... Your truck shouldn't even weight 8k. I have a 05 F250 with the powerstroke and 38" tires. Mine weighs 8k. You should be fine. I lift mine on a bendpak asymmetric 10k. You just have to pull in a little farther than you would with a car.

My garage is 24x36. The garage door is on the 24' wall. So it is 36' deep. The lift is going to be 14' from the back wall, 22' from the garage door. It is a little over 12' wide so there will be about 6' to each side wall.
