    Felo wood screwdrivers, any good?

They're very good, especially for the price. I generally prefer Felo ergonic or 2 component grips like these.

    Craftsman C3 (19.2 v) batteries

I have an older C3 NiCd battery, are those rebuildable with li-Ion cells?

    Knipex Cobras for Hose Clamps

That's the underrated feature of them. They're expensive because they're a specialty tool. Probably still cheaper than the Snap-on equivalent. The ability to grip the hole clamp, and rotate the pliers around the clamp without losing your grip is very very handy, and something you can't do...

    OSB Paint, Seams, & Sanding?

When I did my walls I used paintable/sandable caulk for the seams and smoothed it with a putty knife. I was pretty **** at first trying to get it smooth, but got sloppier as the project went on. When it was all said and done, the paint hides a lot of the imperfections, and its OSB afterall...

How to measure the inner diameter of a small ring or bore?

The quick and dirty way to measure inner diameters is to stick drill bits in there until you find one that's the closest to it in size. You won't get a super precise measurement, but you'll get a rough idea of the size.

How many different chargers do you have?

A bunch of 18v Metabo chargers and 12V Milwaukee chargers.

    Looking For Screw Cutting Tool

I'm in the same boat. I bought these 2 tools: Knipex crimping pliers which do up to M5 And Klein crimping pliers that do up to 10-24 If there's a tool out there that can cut up to 1/4-20 / M6 while preserving the threads, I'd love to get one.

Can lights - LED retrofit Q

Different dimmers react differently to different LED lights. Its kind of a crapshoot.

Any uses for foot switches with power tools?

I have a few foot switches in my shop. I love them. I have one on my drill press, like you mentioned it was the most obvious tool to use it with. I never use the on/off switch, its very handy to line up whatever you're about to drill, and not have to move your hands to flick on the switch...

jbox cutouts in 1/2" Ply - Best tool ?

A circular saw can cut a ~4" slice through the plywood perfectly straight in just a few seconds. The only downside is the "overcut" from the round blade, but if you cut it from the back it doesn't matter. If I had to cut an outlet in with the plywood already on the wall I'd use a oscillating...

    Recommend some drill bits

What was wrong with the DeWalt bits themselves? Expensive drill bits get lost and broken just the same as cheap ones. IMO, unless you're a precision woodworker, there's no need for fancy wood bits. If you're not drilling thick metal all the time, there's no need for fancy alloy bits (Cobalt...

    compression style battery terminal clamps

All motorcycles I've ever worked on had screw terminals. Do the 3-wheeled motorcycles commonly come with larger automotive style batteries with the lead posts?

jbox cutouts in 1/2" Ply - Best tool ?

When I put plywood up for my garage walls I did all the cuts with a 6 1/2" circular saw from the back before putting the plywood up. All the cuts came out great. No exposed cut lines from the front, didn't have to pre-drill the corners. All cuts were extremely straight. It was a fast...

    Race Hauler Lighting by battery?

Car/boat batteries are a lot cheaper per AH than tool batteries. There are ready made components for tying in a trailer battery to charge/run off your tow vehicle. I mean there's no harm in using tool batteries if you have them laying around and have other uses for them. I would recommend...

Help me find a switch: mini waterproof momentary

Haha, oh my bad, when I read your original post I somehow thought you meant "No Momentary" when you obviously meant "Normally Open Momentary". Duh. They're easier and cheaper to find in momentary than latching. If you do some searching, you can find them with LEDs, and symbols (horn, arrows...

What are these metal tabs for (outdoor box)

Technically, I think you have to use those tabs to retain the outdoor rating of the box. 90% of guys don't use them though... just drill a hole in the back and put a dab of silicone before putting in your screws.

Help me find a switch: mini waterproof momentary

Lots of options for 12mm stainless latching switches. You can find them all over the internet if you search for "12mm stainless latching switch or button". You can get them cheaper direct from China from Ebay, AliExpress, etc, if you're willing to wait a few weeks. I have a bunch of them I...

wifi light switch but for OUTDOOR use?

Plenty of options for outdoor wifi switch. I bought one for ~$25 off the shelf at Home Depot a few years ago and it's been turning on/off my landscape lights every day reliably. It can be exposed to the elements, but you'll want some sort of simple cover over it (underneath an awning, etc.) to...

    Help with CAT6 wire

Cat 5/6 will work at 400'-500' all day long, especially at 10/100 speeds like what you'll likely use it for. Average internet speeds are somewhere in the 30-50 MBPS range (which is plenty of bandwidth to stream a 1080p video), which is 20+ times slower than gigabit ethernet speeds. Even if you...

LED light on dril press flickers

The drill press motor probably has a single phase induction motor with a centrifugal switch to activate the "starting coil", which is phase shifted using a starting capacitor to get the motor spinning. This centrifugal switch is on when the motor is spinning at low RPM, and turns off once it...
